  Don't be as mean as Federico - the 10k kip goes towards the local village. You are given a ticket from a numbered book. These people don't have much, don't be grudge them having £1 that goes into their community. After all, who painted the signs and will point you in the right direction if you get lost or need some assistance around the cave site.
  
  That said, we were offered guides twice but declined. On our way around we encountered a group with a guide who came in and out the same way - perhaps they didn't feel link crawling along the narrow parts but seems pointless paying a guide just to walk around the open areas.
  
  Cave is good, you will need a good light though 2 would be better.

  Nice cave, inside there is a path you can follow, indicated by white arrows. Is a loop, so if you go straight you will come back at the entrance. Some parts are really narrow, and at the end you have to lay down and go forward on your elbows through some cunniculs, around 10m. Then the solar beams will kiss you again. Very adventurous trail, bring a good flashlight !! Some kids ask for 10.000 kip for the entrance, but at 14.30 normally they go away and nobofy check the entrance. Park the bike, walk for 15min, and you will arrive at the cave.
