Beef noodle soup nearby was fantastic ! A local village of my father, one day this will be a number 1 tourist spot, not just to transit Cambodia or to the liphi falls. My father owns the sewing shop next door, a new restaurant to open soon also. If you need guidance my father speaks fluent English. Ask for Duang!
Bus station wise, there's 10 seater vans that you can take to several places including Pakse at 8am onwards but the orange bus leaves 12.00pm always to Pakse (about 60000 kip) walk down towards the river for more boat transit options.

ATTENTION! every morning a guy, that speaks english very well , comes to the nakasang bus station with the papers for cambodia visa. He seems and talks like he was one of the agency that sell you the bus ticket. He ask you to follow him to the borders. When you arrive to lao border he asks you 4$ for exit stamp from laos and he takes your passport. Then he asks you 35$ for visa and 3$ more for stamp. Don't trust him because you can do it by yourself and pay only 35$ for visa.
