Excellent atmosphere. Nice open air balcony style restaurant located next to a creek containing some trees.

Went there twice for dinner and each time had a live band. Great music. One of the band members appeared to have their picture on the walls and chatted to guests after the playing session ended at the end of each night so they maybe the restaurant owner.

Packed with customers on Friday night, not many on Sunday night. I suspect Saturday nights maybe busy too. I appeared to be the only foreigner (and my friend) there each time so great for those who wish to get away from the tourist hotspots.

With dishes described as Fried Platypus (Not Australian Platypus, I suspect just duck beaks.), Fried Leather, and Fried Chicken Cartilage, it certainly seems to offer authentic Laos food.
