I stayed at this hotel for three days and three nights. Let me first say that the staff were extremely helpful, professional and friendly. Nothing was a problem for them. Although the room I stayed in was a little on the small side, it was clean and the bathroom was pristine. The air conditioning worked very well which was good as temperatures were reaching 47 degrees Celsius during the daytime.
The food was excellent. The breakfast menu was first class and the lunch and evening menus were also very good. The quality of the food was very good.
I read on some reviews that the furniture and decor looked worn and dated. I did not experience this. The furniture was of very good quality and in the lounge area the furniture was design furniture and very comfortable.
I have stayed in four star hotels that were not as good as this hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone considering staying in Kuwait city.response / report this review -

Being home away from home, IBIS made me feel at home, right from reception, room service to restaurant, every one treated me well and made me feel comfortable. All shops are in walk-able distance location in prime location

Enjoy breakfast or a cup of coffee on the beautiful deck with an incredible view of the gulf. Breakfast has many delicious choices including chef made omelets. All staff very friendly and attentive. Small rooms with comfortable beds and pillows. Easy walk to the parks along the gulf. Would stay again.

Budget hotel. Don't expect to find a shampoo or a body wash in the bathroom. If you need them bring them with you or call the reception and they will charge you for that

Very small rooms and not as shown in website. We upgraded to the executive rooms which were twice the size of the standard rooms. The sea view rooms have just a tiny window that overlooks some roofs and a little bit of the sea not as what is on website were you would think it is a panoramic view windows. Those Windows were the ones in the street. The hotel is a good and lively area with lots of shops and resturants. The service of the hotel was not bad.

A nice hotel in a trendy locations with lots of shopping centres and restaurants nearby. The suites are nice and spacious. Generally the service is good although I had to wait for over half an hour for my suite to be ready.

Really great time was had here. We booked on the basis that it was about 50% of what some of the 5-star hotels down the road would have cost us for a quick, two-night stay. The rooms were clean if spartan. At the end of the day though, they seemed to have everything you might need. Also, the real winner for this hotel is its absolutely superb location. You are right next door to the Sultan Center for any grocery or retail needs, a couple of shopping malls with (admittedly pricey) fashion selections and some very good restaurants.
As per my wife, "I would stay here again in a heartbeat"--but that's also possibly because we have family in Kuwait and were never at a loss for things to do outside of the hotel room. There are obviously better places to book if you plan to be indoors all the time, but this is great for a business stay or similar.response / report this review -

Everything is great. Breakfast is fabulous, staffs are so friendly and helpful, room is properly cleaned. I love the lobby and my baby just wanted to play with the two fishes in aquarium at the reception.

Nice location, clean but too small room just good for a person. No stop or parking for guests in hotel front. Guest with car should wander around looking for free open parking and walk to hotel. Don't forget to take your dental kits, shaving kits etc. You have to pay for it here
