So we were here on a weekday for vegetarian food. And the food was disappointing. The thali is only available from 12-4 and the rest of teh dishes on the menu aren't all available. They want you to mostly order the special, which I was't so keen on. Finally we settled on some fish curry with rice, black pepper chicken, masala dosa and aloo matar. The nonvegetarian curries were pretty good but the chicken was salty.
The veg food was unsalted or too sweet. The person taking the order was quick.There are booths for families who want privacy, but I don't seem to get the charm of Anjappar. There are so many smaller joints doing Indian food in the area especially snacks like dosa and vadas. If you come here stick to the non vegetarian faremuch better.

A popular restaurant serving Indian Tamil cuisine. The place is popular among south Indians for a non veg meal. The dum biryanis are OK, not great. Their lunch thali is good with option of fish or chicken curry. They have some ethnic Tamil dishes like soup of country chicken (Nattu kozhi rasam).

Quite impressed with the food. Unlike many restaurants I've visited.. Each of the items we ordered had their own distinct flavour. Add to that professional staff n comfortable environment. The only reason for not giving a 5 star is due to the poor dessert quality and variety as well as parking provisions.
