I enjoyed visiting this museum. They have an array of exhibits - ranging from Traditional Korean paintings and sculpture to modern found items art. Lovely little trip to take for a date or with friends. There is also a coffee shop where you can sit and unwind after or between exhibitions

Modern and interesting museum. This one is not free, but definitely worth visiting. It is also relatively less crowded than other museums.
Once you have bought your ticket, you are able to visit actually two sections.

Wonderful art experience with a NFC-initiated audio guides. Beautiful architecture. Two galleries, one for traditional arts and one for international modern/contemporary works.

This museum is pretty nice and affordable. You can't take pictures on the inside. I like the way the organized it though. It makes it easy to see everything.

It was really nice. They have lockers for your bags. Unfortunately you can't take pictures. Personally there were many works the already had knowledge about but it was nice seeing them in person.

I would recommend it if you are looking for a drastic difference of a traditional and modern section. The traditional is filled with old artifacts. The modern is filled with recent paintings and structures. They have a headset with information for each piece available. However, I found the headset insensitive to your location, and pretty abstract. It would have been better if it had more of the history behind the pieces instead of an abstract description. But the atmosphere was good, and you can even take a break between sections and head over to their cafe.

A very posh museum! The audio guide works just great and it is a must if you visit that place. It starts to tell you about a piece as soon as you approach it. However this museum does not have a good selection of objects. Mostly it is pieces of dishes or vases. But for those who like it - would be nice.

I thought this was the best museum in Seoul. Unlike the larger ones, it's collection is smaller, however it is displayed much better than the others. The building itself is beautiful and each gallery looks like a future concept of what a gallery would look like. My personal interest was the Korean traditional art and there was a great collection.
The audio guide is an absolute must- it's only 1,000 won and works extremely well, starting an audio clip for whichever piece you're stood next to, without having to constantly type in numbers, so you can just leave it hanging around your neck and not touch it for the whole gallery.
The gallery is owned by Samsung and the use of tech is excellent. You can spin objects around on a screen, zoom into details on your audio guide and as mentioned before, audio will play when you move near a piece, giving you a quick summary of the piece.
