A great hotel.
Very friendly and helpful staff that are available 24 hours.
The breakfast is a very basic one: bread, gimbap, fruit, and cereal.
Coffee is available 24 hours.
Only complaint is the green light transmitted from the screen of the heater pad on the wall. It lights up the entire room and disrupts sleep if you're sensitive to light.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Nox Hotel for several reasons. First is the excellent service. The staff here are so helpful, speak English and want you to please their customers. They would always inquire as to if our room was pleasant, help us find things like batteries and bandaids. Second, the hotel has amny ammenities that are very useful while travelling. A good breakfast, a pool, a shared kitchenette (in lounge near pool), laundary service, shuttle to the airport, etc. Lastly, it is in a great area for experiencing a true Korean nightlife experience. It is surrounded by great Korean restaurants, night clubs, etc. it is a short walk t the subway station and taxis are plentiful in this area.
We would stay in Nox Hotel again when we return to Gangnam.response / report this review -

I was EXTREMELY satisfied with my experience here. Highly recommend this as a low cost, high class substitute vs. larger chain hotels in the area. Details:
Arrived at 9a after a red-eye flight, and they gave us a room immediately rather than normal 2p check-in time. No added charge. Room is very clean and has all amenities we needed/wanted, including free laundry in the basement (which they will take back to your room for you after you leave for the day).
Our Expedia rate was about $60/day- what a bargain! I would have happily paid twice that.
And they extended that rate when we decided to stay an extra 2 nights beyond original reservation. We had a king size bed, first room off the elevator. Our smoke free room was truly smoke free, even though the hallway wasn't : )
Location is great- easily walked to Gangnam alleyways. Super close to Yoeksam subway stop. Easy to walk over to Renaissance hotel for cab or bus to airport. I like the inconspicuous entry way also.
The staff spoke great English, helped us to get to the baseball game at Jamshil.
HIGHLY Recommend!!
-American couple from Chicago (& I travel for work all the time in the States- this is better than almost any Hilton I stay at for work travel)
