My fav hotel with sunning view of Seoul. Summer is the best time to stay but other seasons would give you special moment!

For those who have a taste for fine architecture, Douglas House(one of hotel buildings in the overall hotel complex) is an exquisite architectural gem elegantly placed on the sloping terrains with partial views to the river. The building was one of the three original buildings built when the hotel first opened in the 60s, designed by the head figure of modernist architecture in Korea. The building is well preserved and the rooms are in good conditions due to a recent interior renovation. Staff service details and the simple but well kept library was a delightful feature of the stay. The pleasant experience at Walker Hill ended with a bad taste at the Pavilion(this is the lobby lounge in the main hotel building), with below par service. A disappointment, such a big slip from the rest of the experience. Just avoid the Pavilion
