They had english speaking hosts who were very accommodating to our requests, and whom took the extra effort to help us settle in. The hotel was beautifully decorated and lived up to its reputation as a themed hotel. The room itself was amazing and little details were attended to.

Basically, this hotel has the proximity to the park as the main thing going for it. The rooms are okay, but a bit dated. The 3 restaurants at the hotel are overpriced for the quality and seemed to be always empty. I'd stay here again but the hotel would be greatly improved with a pool / hot tub and a casual bar for hanging out at.

    Another great hotel.
Great traditional English UK style of hotel.
But varies of selection on type of room.
Great view, with 7-11 in 100m walking distance.
    Short distance to seoraksan.
Bus stop in front of hotel.
    Best.

Exemplary service by reception desk staff, even for customers who are illiterate in Korean. Closest hotel to Seoraksan's park entrance. Unique colonial decor.

This place is a trip. Packed with British memorabilia, and the last hotel on the way to Seorak Mountain. The rooms are fine, the breakfast was decent, and the staff were helpful. Walking distance to park entrance.

    The rating is tough here.
The location is perfect. It is at the base of the park within a very short walking distance of the entrance. if you see the line of cars waiting to get into the park, this is a huge perk.

It is a funny hotel with a British flare that really does not seem to belong there
Most troubling was the smell. We had two rooms and they both smelled of dog urine.

Hotel does have a very nice hiking outfit shop.

We visited during off season, so the hotel was pretty empty. Our room was pretty good size, but we got very small double bed and a single bed, not ideal for a couple. Everything in the hotel room were pretty outdated.

All restaurant but one on the 9th floor was closed for dinner, the food was good and the staff was very nice and accommodating. Again even the restaurant was pretty empty.

For breakfast, we were expecting a buffet, but we were told it wasn't available since the occupancy in the hotel was low. We were offered two choices, Korean or English breakfast, but the staff did not explain what was included in either. Also, the coffee wasn't ready by the time breakfast started, so we had to wait a while for it.

Overall, the hotel is located very conveniently if you are visiting Mt. Seorak since it only 10 mins walk to the park, but it's not a very nice hotel by western standard.
