Would not recommend. This is not a 5 star hotel. Maybe a 3 star. Their service was terrible and so is the style. After the hour it took to checkin, our hotel room was dirty and even had mushrooms growing in it. When I went to complain I was told we had to wait to talk to a manager. So we went swimmimg ,indoor pool is not free!!! Went to the out door pool and when we got out our skin was dyed blue.
So we met the manager who gave us an upgrade(we already had the highest priced room) so all the upgrade was was a coffee machine with terrible coffee!!! Our clothes were still left in our old room so the manager said he would bring them,.. still wet from swimming we waited for another hour for the clothes. Next the bedroom still had mould and was dirty and the bed stank!!! It is not worth anywhere near the prices advertised!!!

The staff has been very unkind, location is quite far from downtown, old shuttle bus driver giving rough bumpy ride is annoying. Some facilities are out of order and NO notice and information. Room condition is very bad

This is a nice luxury hotel near a National Park & near the upcoming Olympic area. This place was pretty full with tourists enjoying the fall season, and with a large group of Olympic who were doing pre-inspections. Make sure that you book the breakfast upon making the room reservation, since it can be very expensive otherwise. Also, the breakfast is wonderful with full American & korean offerings.

The room was very good and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The shower was nice and the TV was pretty cool. There were neither toothbrushes, nor toothpaste! (Pretty much standard in every $30 hotel in South Korea.) I was also disappointed that there was very little information in the book about the services available in the hotel. (No mention of the sauna, which would have been helpful for myself~ a saunaholic.)

Dinner wasn't too bad. Some good food, though the fried rice was very sticky and didn't really taste that good. (Even I could have done a better job preparing it.)
The breakfast was sub-par. Though the coffee was very good, there was no milk or cream, only powdered instant coffee creamer. Instead, I elected to scoop out some milk out of the cereal milk bowl. For cereals, frootloops, choco puffs?? and corn flakes are OK, but how about some healthier options, like Museli , or Oatmeal? There was no bacon, the ham was the abyss~ sliced ham in this very gross sauce. The sausages were not the best quality and were covered in ketchup and cheese. The salad had dressing in it. (Why not give the customer the option of adding condiments and dressing on their own?!) The butter and jam seemed highly processed. The eggs were hard-boiled (making me happy), but why not also have the option of soft-boiled eggs (my wife was quite disappointment about that.) In addition, there was neither salt nor pepper on the tables.

The people working the front desk were very wonderful and spoke English very well!

All in all, the location was nice. Walking on the grass was really nice! Playing SNAG golf was new, but lots of fun! Didn't get to try the pool, but it looked good. The gardens were wonderful!! Great for children, too!

For a 6 star hotel, they really need to shape up their food services for the coming Winter Olympics. They have their work cut out for themselves. I wish them the best! 3 and a quarter stars.

For Korea (in the middle of the country outside of major cities) standards, this hotel is very clean and nice to western standards. The rooms are big and bathroom is very large. An easy solid 4-starsmorning breakfast included with our room (2 adults). Our room has a single and queen/full beds with 36" flat screen tv, a/c, mini-fridge (w/ 2x complimentary bottled water)think western hotel. Again, a pleasant surprise ;)
