  의정부시청 보다는 시청오른쪽 옆 산언덕을 오르면 죽동공원으로 이어진다. 죽동공원으로 이어지는 산책로가 있다, 하지만 사패산으로 이어지는 트래킹코스를 소개하고 싶다. 사패산 도착하기 800m 전쯤에 능선에 올라 좌측으로 가면 도봉산 자운봉으로 갈 수 있다. 이곳으로 가는 정상에서의 풍경 또한 아름답다. 올 가을 가을단풍철에 추천하고 싶은 그 트래킹코스 이다.
