A Caribbean beach bar with reasonable prices and we liked that the staff keep the vendors away. Who wants to be bothered while you enjoy lunch and an adult beverage. no one

My aunt and I visited this location on a recent cruise. It's a beautiful beach but our experience was less than ideal. The woman running the bar area was so very rude to everyone on the beach. Now, I understand it's a lively hoodshe must sell food, rent chairs, and serve drinks but as the old saying goes "you get more bees with honey then vinegar".
At one point she proceeded to dump everyone's items onto the beach out of the loungers instead of asking patrons to pay or if they had paid. Ranting that everyone was so f**king cheap and she was sick of it she angrily threw the chairs back from their original spots. It was at this point my aunt and I dressed and just wanted to leave so we waited away from the bar/grill area for our shuttle.
It truly is a shame that such ugliness can spoil the beautiful surroundings of the area. I hope that the owners see this review or if she was the owner that some consideration goes into customer service overall. Perhaps a ticket process to manage the rentals..seems the easiest solution.response / report this review -

Food was so-so. It's nice that it's right on the beach though. Definitely in the "touristy" area of the island though by the Marriott.

Great hangout for a cold beverage or cocktails, some tasty food, chill lounge tunes and beautiful views. Live entertainment in evening. Lovely to enjoy by the beach.

I lived on St Kitts for about 2 1/2 years and spent quite a few afternoons -
and a few evenings - at X's. Great place to hang out..have some food and just relax. Touristsstudentsex-pats..locals - everybody just limin'. Really nice people, and good food!! Sports activities and rentals if one is so interested.response / report this review -

Unfortunately disappointing food and high prices. May be it was just the night we went, but it did not taste fresh and quality was questionable. Lobster was dry. Spicy chicken was sweet and fries/rice/veggies were not fresh and hot.

This is a very relaxed establishment on the beach. You literally can get service on the beach. The food is excellent, serving a manageable menu with items from burgers to Caribbean lobster and daily specials. Very friendly staff, on 'local time'. They do cater to the cruise ship crowd - bussed in on excursion trips from the port. Also, the 'exchange rate' on the island (from US dollars to EC) is very liquid, so depending on the establishment, a beer can be $1 or $8 US.

This is our first visit to Reggae Beach. My husband and I are really enjoying this relaxing experience. The service is excellent and food is great! We had the fish of the day, mahi-mahi and the lobster sandwich, both really delicious!

We came here for a late lunch while on St. Kitts. This place is absolutely worth the visit! One minor complaint: service was a bit slow and (possibly because we came after lunch) the food took a while. But man, the food was worth the wait. Well prepared, and absolutely worth the flavor.
I ordered ribs: fork tender with an amazing sauce. My friends ordered jerk chicken, various kinds of fish and shrimp. We were all very pleased. The view is hard to beat too.response / report this review -

Our favorite beach bar on The Strip! Tasty food, good drinks and plenty of room to roam around. Bucket of beer prices vary depending on who you ask so check with a couple servers to find out who is offering the lowest price.

Good wings and mahi mahi, my wife enjoyed her jerk chicken. Kids were so so with their burgers. Prices are inexpensive and the view is nice. Staff is friendly but both ourselves and another group ( there were only three families at the restaurant early in the evening when we went) had issues with service and getting the orders served properly. This place is right on the beach, so expect some sand on your toes. Families with young kids should go early, as it turns into more of a bar in the evening.
