Visited this place as a part of our shore excursion with Royal Caribbean! Absolutely breathtaking and very historical. Bring a good camera to capture their beautiful nature!
Beautiful resort in a jungle garden built from volcanic rock
Good photo opertunities. Very impressive. This was a short stop on a tour.
The meal and service was fantastic
Went there for lunch. Great food and the grounds were breath taking!
Beatiful!
This is one of the most scenic places my wife and I have ever been. Apparently it's quite an old property (from the 1950s), but it's recently been upgraded by artists Helen and Brice Marden.
While there are only 11 rooms there, it's one of the greatest photo opportunities that I've ever seen. A converted sugar plantation seated on 100 acres of sculpted land was worth the trip to St. Kitts and the 45-minute ferry ride, if not just to see this.
great food, good cocktails, wonderful grounds, no people. We had the place to ourselves.
It was okay
Very serene atmosphere, calm and takes you back to nature. The food is very very good. Try the Conch chowder- delicious.
Golden Rock is simply wonderful. From the fabulous landscaping and historical setting to the friendly staff and wonder food, we love it all. We come to Nevis every year and stay at a friends place for free down the road. However, I would recommend Golden Rock to anyone for the best meal on the island or the best place to stay in a tropical setting. It's small and private.
My daughter and I had two incredible salads (which we shared) and a few sides for late lunch. The ambiance is really quite spectacular; I recommend walking the gardens while there. The outdoor seating is a must.
Took the ferry from St. Kitts to make an afternoon of it ans it was well worth the trip.
Arty, relaxed restaurant in a fab location on the Atlantic side of the island. Had a lobster (fresh locally caught) sandwich at lunch for $18. Well worth it. The gardens & views are superb.
