This was an amazing vacation. The hotel was clean, tranquil, relaxing and simply breathtaking. The staff was awesome!!! Especially the Guest Services crew (Verdine and Chris)! Food delicious. I didn't get a chance to take advantage of the Farm Dinner, however, I would definitely suggest trying. It looked delish and stunning. Yoga was perfect mix of strengthening and relaxation. Can't wait to go back!!

WE stayed for five nights at Belle Mont Farm, and loved each day. Our private cottage was beautiful, with gorgeous views out to the sea and St. Eustasius Island. We were surrounded by rainforest, lovingly tended by gardeners. Meals in the restaurant were very good, and very well served. A highlight was the Farm to Table dinner, and also a breakfast in the Farm's nursery. It was obvious how much everyone working at Belle Mont Farm values the property; it is a special place.

Very pleasant stay. Highly recommended if you're looking for a very quiet and relaxing vacation.

Pros - Homey atmosphere. The hotel suite did not feel like a hotel room at all. I felt as if I was staying at someone's house. Quiet resort with gorgeous view of the mountains and the sea. Starry sky at night is a great bonus. Fully equipped gym with state-of-the-art machines. The communal farm-to-table dinner is a very unique experience. You share food with other travelers at a table in the middle of the farm. The chef cooks the food in front of you. Most of the meal is consisted of fresh vegetables picked from their farm. They are grilled and seasoned just enough to bring out the fresh flavors. Hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful for the most part.

Cons -- No night life (if you're looking). No shopping, unless you want to pay 120USD to take a taxi to Basseterre or pay for car rental. The hotel is on top of the hill in the middle of nowhere. The beach and the beach restaurant that they take you to is so-so. Clean water and black sand, but definitely not your quintessential beach. I think the hotel is fairly new, so there are still a lot of little things that they can fine tune. For example, all the suites have outdoor bathrooms surrounded by foliage for privacy, except the foliage hasn't grown that thick around many suites, so there is no privacy whatsoever if you want to take a bath or walk around naked. The shower and toilet have doors. There are places to put candles around the hotel suite, but when you ask for candles, the staff have no idea where to get the candles or if they have candles.
The food at the main restaurant is fairly good, but service is somewhat luke warm and food can take a very long time to come out. One night they brought out room-temperature rolls and told us they made the rolls fresh. I know the chefs try to utilize local ingredients and vegetables, but the flavoring on some of the dishes were just out of wack. Their carrot coconut soup was literally luke warm fresh carrot juice with a hint of coconut. It wasn't exactly a true cold soup nor was it a regular hot carrot soup that we would think of. The star fruit cauliflower salad was a disaster. The sourness of plain fresh star fruit did not go together with the blandness of steamed cauliflowers and cashew butter at all. Their meat dishes were better. Overall I just felt there were no strong notes in the flavoring. With the exceptions of a few dishes, most things tasted rather flat. However, the food was very light and not greasy at all. For once I didn't need to go on a diet after a vacation. It was definitely clean eating at Bellemont Farm.
