Sweetest family of women weavers. Patiently and clearly explains the process of weaving silk from egg to worm to cocoon to loom. Beautiful scarves and other textiles sold at very reasonable prices. Special to share a small meal of fruit and cake with the women after the tour. Strangers become friends over the breaking of bread.

It is a community in the Sister island of silk island. It was fantastic experience to see how they make silk from the cocoon to the thread than into fabric. Very warm and nice people.

Really nice people. Of course they try to sell you stuff (which are nice things btw) but no forcing. They explain you about silk weaving and offer free fruits (although maybe they offered us because we bought a small scarf)
