It was nice place to visit. You could see Buddha statue inside of the temple. But, the weather was so hot because I came here on April. It was summer time.

Cute little hill with some memorable monuments, but you can only enter towards the east, as there is a fence built around the whole hill and there is a 1$ entry fee for foreigners. Still ok, as long as they don’t raise the entry fee. Don’t expect a view, there are high trees around!

A sprawling park on a hill that has a temple at the top. There's also a Chinese temple on the park grounds halfway up the hill. Interesting contrast of Buddhist and Taoist practices going on in such close proximity. Visitors are welcome to make offerings to the deities, and experience the customs. English speaking guides seem to be available as well.

I appreciated that they make foreign tourist pay to enter and shoot photos in an holy place, while Cambodians don't. Plenty of flowers and beautiful trees. Too bad the handcrafts shop located next to the temple is absurdly expensive compared to market and shops in other areas.

What Phnom is located in the old quarter near the old market and walking distance to the Raffles Le Royal hotel.Not a big temple compared to those in Bangkok but nevertheless worth a visit if you are in the area.At the back of the temple there is old guy chanting buddhistic verses for protection and tying a string to your left hand after that, don't take it off and just let it wear it self off.usually tourists pay a dollar for donation after that

Wat Phnom is one well known historical site. It is nice place for both foreign tourist to visit and local citizen to relax during the weekend. It is kind a small mountain/ hill that has Buddhist temple on the top of the mountain and a tiny Chinese temple at the corner middle way of stair to the top. It has greenery garden, and fresh air. It is close to riverside, national museum, and royal palace. It is good for international tourists to arrange your visit together with the royal Palace, national museum, riverside, night market.

Do you believe this small mountain or hill was not natural? This is a historic place that is very importance for Cambodia capital, because the Phnom Penh city was named because of this place.

There is a pagoda on top, and this is a sculpture on big clock that talk about Thai gave back three province to Khmer king.

There are many monkey, but they are not so dangerous anyway no need to play with them.

One of the major sites in Phnom Penh as this is where the name originated. It is visited by locals and tourists throughout the day. Not entirely sure why the exterior sculptures and walls are covered in pink paint. The interior is more interesting. There's event space by the clock area, and they were hosting cultural events open to the public.

Nothing special to see outside the big clock, so have a look of the history of the hill to understand its origin. A little tour on the internet/guide before is a good thing then. All entries are condemned, access only to the East to go through the ticketoffice ($ 1). But at no time is there control of tickets: many are (foreign and local) who go straight. Very nice ticketofficer who speaks no more than 3 words of English.
At night, quite pretty with the effects of light, but if you hang around for too long you get bumped by prostitutes.

Nice place to visit. It is a historical place that good for foreign and local tourists to visit. We can learn about ancient culture. We can go there to pray for luck, visit with family or friends and relaxing with landscape. We can also enjoy taking good photos at there.

A nice Wat in Phnom Penh. A small climb up to the temple.

Have now put up a small fence all the way around and tourists pay 1 US$ to enter.

Majestic history & legacy are shown here, mountain pagoda. Central altar has large golden / bronze seated Budha surrounded by other big & small statues, flowers, incents, candles and worshipping materials. Walls are covered with beautiful paintings.

Expected a big temple with a park but it's actually quite small. So many amazing temples in SEA, not the best one. Entrance fee is 1$ for foreigners.

In a small pavilion on the south side of the passage between the vihara and the stupa is a statue of the smiling and rather plump Madame Penh.A bit to the north of the vihara and below it is an eclectic shrine dedicated to the genie Preah Chau, who is especially revered by the Vietnamese. On either side ofthe entrance to the chamber in which a statue of Preah Chau sits are guardian spirits bearing iron bats.
