  I can remember that my classmate who did passed away by diseases and his body was celebrated the funeral ceremony at wat Sansam Kosal Pagoda.

  I bumped into this small but functional Wat by chance. They have facilities for Khmer funerals and also teacher and monk residences. There is plenty of parking and a main pagoda and a larger older hall style pagoda.
  This is a good place to catch a tuktuk too at the 2 main gates and their are plenty of shops and markets outside.
  For a few weeks I was allowed to sit in on the Khmer Buddhist practices in the evening while I stayed over that way.
  It is traditional Khmer Buddhism and doesn't facilitate western practitioners, although anyone is welcome.

  Almost half of outside area of this well known Buddhist pagoda is surrounded by street market.
