Some amazing traditional Khmer food here. Which is also available as a take out. An almost tranquil position on the busy river.

The small pier next to it can get noisy with the boat horns. The roof is retractable, but only really used in the dry season.

There are often traditional Apsara dancers performing, which is very beautiful to watch.

I went there for dinner as the place seemed nice form the outside. First of all they wanted me to sit at a table that was not clean. I decline and ask for an other one. Then I ordered a vegetarian fried rice that is usually served with a fried egg on the top. Well, I did have a fried rice but without the fried egg because it was « sold out » (weird to say as I saw many plates passing by with fried eggs on it). Regarding the « vegetarian » part, i found a piece of squid inside the rice. And the whole meal was cold when I was served. I was eating alone so maybe this is why they did not care but still this is not a way of treating people.
There a plenty of other restaurants that serve nice Khmer food, at a cheaper price and with delicious taste !

We had a surprisingly terrible dinner experience with my parents and a friend of mine who is Khmer. However, before that restaurant was known as a place for fine dining. First of all, they tried to charge us more by including a wrong price of one dish (12,5$ instead of 8$). I had to ask for the menu and point at the price to the staff. They brought another bill without even a word of apologize or smile. Amok I ate wasn't proper (they didn't put enough variety of herbs, neither coconut cream) and expensive (about 8$). My mom ordered chicken fillet, but was brought chicken bones with several chicken butts! We had to ask to replace it. The service was slow and not much friendly (though I was polite and didn't express my anger). A few times I needed to stand up and walk to the staff gathering in a distance not observing the table at all, which is not ok for such level of a restaurant. The restaurant was closing and they simply started to turn off the light without saying a word to us, even we still had some food left on the table. While leaving we asked where is the toilet and were told that it's closed already. We ignored that and went to the toilet, which was open and with lights on. Our dinner with one inexpensive bottle of wine was almost 80$. Apart nice wooden interior and the river view it doesn't worth to pay a visit or moreover to eat there.

I went there for tea. There was nobody and it was very nice to sit by the seafront while sipping iced mocha. When I went there for dinner however, the seats by the seafront are not well lit (and it is pretty dark. My neighbour was reading his menu with his cellphone flashlight) and you cannot see the traditional dance show. The food is good, but not incredible. The fried springrolls have more skin than filling. The setting is quite nice though.

A must visit restaurant in Phnom Penh with modern Khmer style dinning environment and amazing Mekong river side view. Serving Khmer, Thai, and other kind of food. Most of the guests are foreigners. Recommended food are Amok(fish), tong yum kong, steam rice, and grill fish with mango salad.

Very nice decor khmer restaurant. Tasty food but not special, maybe a bit too much tuned for tourists, but reasonable price in nice riverside ambiance. Large outside seating area along the river. Life khmer music. If you are lucky with little traditional dance performance but dont count on it. Happens maybe once an evening and you might have just missed it when arriving. Friendly quick service. Opposite is a little night market without any interest.

This is an classic restaurant with completely in Khmer style. U can enjoy the food while watching traditional dance and music. It located on riverside with fresh air and good view. It's a romantic place too. The food is delicious with good service. U might booked the seat first for dinner. Anyway, u might wanted to get on the boat after dinner for fun. It's the place for it.

Nice place to spend an evening eating by the river. Slightly more expensive than most other places in the area but you pay for the atmosphere (which is nice)

You will be able have below very very bad experience.
    1. Some Waiter boys are very rude , and poor customer service. They think when we eat it paied by them 😀
    2. After 30min you make the order they tell you that food is not available as hen you go for another dish it take another 30min so we have to wait one hour in total
    3. Very poor and dirty untidy kitchen. Food can cased to stomach upset as well.

Only opeanion is do not visit this place , spread this as much as you can I have faced this same situation more than 3 times now.

There is nothing special about this place, just sparkly lights. Average food, there's more and better amazing food in some smaller street restaurants. Service was slow and disinterested, like we were inconveniencing the waiter because we wanted to order. But ONE waiter was genuinely very good. Waited a long time to order, then waited long time for drinks (arriving separately) then food, which, just to top off the night my mum got sick after.
