Food here is delicious! It's definitely not as cheap as eating in the market area, but worth a visit. The fish amok is made like it's a souffle and their eggplant with pork had a nice solid flavor. The weakest of the meal were the spring rolls, not for the flavor, but it was a bit too oily for my taste.

I live to cook and can appreciate the artistry and attention to detail evident in the food served here. The freshly prepared amok is souffle'd perfectly: so light and airy, it is simply the most scrumptious curry dish I have ever tasted. You really must get the amok, its very much worth the wait. The salads are unique, and the aura of the facility delightful.

Overall, when I return to Siem Reap I will most likely eat here exclusively, it's that wonderful.

Very tasty food and lovely building. Highly recommended.

One star deducted as initial reception was cold (told we couldn’t have a table without a reservation) - was rectified once seated. And don’t order the house white - not nice!

Excellent food. Try the Steamed amok fish , done perfectly with plenty of coconut milk for a creamy taste. Ambience is nice for family dining. One of the best Siem Reap restaurant , compared to others which cater for mass tourists. After 5 days we already tried a few and we know what is good. Recommended.

Some of the best Asian food I have eaten in my life. This dynamic partnership are producing a stunning dining experience, worthy of international recognition.

I would highly recommend to all who visit. It is as a must not miss experience.

The cost of dinner is incredibly reasonable.

You will want to dine here every night of your stay.

Affordable and quite tasty food. Surprising number of vegetarian options. Limited desert menu of 4 items of which one is ice-cream. Very friendly service and pleasant surroundings. Nicest restrooms I've been to in Siem Reap!

Great restaurant with really good food and nice setting. A great atmosphere, ideal for any occasion, being it a dinner with friends or a romantic one.
Food is delicious, the fish amok is on a completely different level from any other amok I've tasted so far.
Price wise it's mid range, which will set you back to about 10/15$ for entree, main and a drink.

Decided to try it, following reviews from former location, the place is a bit large and cold, service could be improved, and on a Cambodian scale a bit overpriced. This said the cooking is tasty for western palate, too light on spices for mine.
Value for money means three stars only

all food was totally salty, amok took 40 minutes (and they didnt tell us in advance), fish had a metal clip in it (was replaced but owner was verysurprised we wanted a new dish), the forgot drinks we ordered. was our second try, never again. much better options with friendly owners and competent staff.

Loved this place. Beef salad was excellent. The Prahok Kh’Tih and fried noodles were unbelievable. Also get the watermelon mint cocktail if it's on the menu when you're there.

The food and environment at The Sugar Palm are quite nice. Staff were welcoming and friendly, and the food was tasty. Prices were higher than I had expected, and the coffee was so-so, but overall is a nice place to eat and sit for a while. Convenient location, and nice decor inside.
