Hostel more on the luxurious size with the pool and the restaurant area. This hostel is huge! A lot of rooms/dorms available.

The pool is clean, and the area is pretty dreamy with the palm trees and the mangos trees.

The restaurant had tasty food with good service. They have little activities at nights to win food or drinks.

    Well located.

One of the nicest hostel I've stayed in. Staff were very helpful and friendly, rooms were clean, dorm beds were large and comfortable with extra places to hang towels. Pool was excellent. Good location near the Central market and a short walk to the river side. Did the s21 and killing fields tour which was pretty much just transportation to the locations, but was worth the money as it's double the price to take a tuk tuk. Would recommend and stay there again.

Nice place, fairy quiet. Good location, nice staff. Food is a bit average. Great pool. Helpful when booking tours and onward travel. Good sized lockers in the dorms.

We are a family of 6. We had a wonderful stay in a comfortable and well located family room. The room was very clean with comfortable beds and a beautiful bathroom. The kids also loved the pool in the heat of the day. We made sure our kids didn't splash other guests outside the pool. We hope the Billabong will continue to offer family rooms in the future. The Billabong has a great location in downtown Phnom Penh with easy access to many downtown attractions. This place is a great value our money.

Great hostel! Stayed there for three nights and the staff helped us to get our visa for Vietnam. Big pool area, good food in the restaurant, clean and big rooms, good wifi. Would recommend it to anyone going there!

Great hostel overall. Clean rooms with really great beds that have everything from lockers to outlets to lights, missing however are curtains. The bathrooms are well equipped and spacious. Staff is friendly and nice, and the whole hostel comes with a nice outdoor area including a restaurant and pool. You can't do anything wrong staying at Billabong which is why I already recommended it to other travellers along the way.

Compared to other hostels in Phnom Penh for is the place to stay. Much cleaner and has a much more relaxed vibe than other hostel. The restaurant serves great food and drink which is great to have by the pool and relax. Only downside is it could be a bit cleaner, there were stains on most of our beds and the bathroom was a bit grimey. Much better compared to other hostels though.

This hostel was amazing. Soft beds, great shower and nice pool! Location is a bit off (not near nice restaurants) and staff could be nicer. Overall great experience!

Nice hostel for a decent price. The swimming pool is so good! The food is pretty good and actually not more expensive than other places around the hostel.

Came here from Siem Reap by recommendation of another traveler who stayed here and enjoyed his time at this hotel. I actually ended up just using their Vietnam Visa service and since it was so fast and complete, I arranged for a bus ticket (at the hotel) from Phnom Penh to Saigon the same day and did not actually spend the night in Phnom Penh. I gave $65 dollars and my passport to the Billabong front desk staff and in around four hours they returned my passport to me with a complete and authentic Vietnam visa stamped inside. I did not have to pay anyone anything else to leave Cambodia and enter Vietnam by bus. Had it not been for the friendly and urgent service of the front desk staff and their lovely Thai lady manager, I would have been in a very unpleasant predicament. Should I ever return to Phnom Penh, I would stay at the Billabong Hotel. If you ever need fast, cheap and reliable visa service to any of the neighboring countries, I recommend using Billabong to get the job done for you.

Good hostel but quite expensive drinks and food. A good choice if you are looking for a place to relax with a small group, if you are looking for a party location there are better alternatives.

Nice hostel! Great swimming pool, really nice staff. Asking 1,5 for drinking water does cost them a star though

The pool is what I love the most at this hitel; believe me, you guys will need it to really hydrate your skin when walking in PhnomPenh and you guys could not find this easily in PhnomPenh at the room rate 20 +/- per night!

Really loved the personal service here and it's a little oasis in Siem reap - only reason for not getting full marks is you will need a TUC TUC to get to and from town - definitely at night .not a problem for me as I didn't want to spend much time in town, was just doing trips to temples and relaxing by the pool in the evening - highly recommend

Beautiful new hotel(/hostel) close to the central markets and so great location to do the tourist stuff and close to the bus companies, but without being on a busy road.
Amazing pool, great big and clean rooms with an amazing shower
The restaurant was nice but maybe a bit overpriced for Cambodian standards, but there are good alternatives in the area

Great place in Phnom Penh center. It's cheap and very clean. Big enough to host quite a lot of people without being crowded. Staff is young and quite nice. The food is ok and if food and drinks could be cheaper, the happy hour and the pool side make it very ok.
    I recommend!

I stayed in a private room on the 1st floor which was clean, tidy and served me well for my short stay. Very basic but ideal if your on a budget and after a safe place to stay.

    Great place setting for hostel.
Private room for est $20 during rainy season reviewed.

Cable television with 50+ channels. 3 level hotel & hostel. Comfy twin size bed with great pillow. Also nice to have a In room safe and refrigerator. Hot water was a nice plus for being in Cambodia.

Fast wifi. As good as I experienced in the States and in Singapore

Front staff are very helpful , although limited English. Has complimentary Giant Ibis pickup available if needed. Not far from convenience store and several cafes and restaurants.

Did not try bar but as expected bar and breakfast expect to be more pricey.
