Visiring Cambodia is definitely one of the things I wanted to do before I reach 30. My sister who gifted me the trip, arranged everything from accommodation, tours and activities. Right from the moment we stepped outside the airport, we were already amazed with Tan Sour Resort's pickup transpo. They called it TukTuk, it's like sitting on a moving comfy sofa. It was a really great experience. Once we got to the resort, we were provided cold, great smelling towels to freshen up, a cold drink and a very courteous staff. We ordered spring rolls for light snacks and then we went on to check our villa, it was breath-taking, big comfy bed, spacious, it was hot when we came and even without AC, it's surprisingly cool. We were about to explore the town center for dinner so we went out to ask for a TukTuk driver that's when I found out about one of the best thing - they will lend local phones to their guests with free load for calling. So the guests can contact TukTuk drivers, Police for any untoward accidents and to also contact the staff. Some can't speak English well, so the staff gives instructions thru their local language. Overall, my stay in Tan Sour Resort, is one I will never forget. The Cambodian people are so nice and there is so much to see in this beautiful country! We also tried temple tours, cooking class, watched the circus and went for a night out at Pub Street. Btw, Cambodian massage is must-try. Thank you to the staff and everyone for making me feel a really great first time experience.

This place has just cancelled my booking 5 days before i am due to fly due to 'overbooking' which i think is total rubbish and is actually because they decided they could charge someone else more money. Beware!

Unique ! One of our favourite five star resorts in Siem Reap! Exquisite staff. Lovely Khmer houses. Chic, yet simple.

A great, very special luxury lodging. Small, super comfy Khmer wooden houses amongst the banana trees. There is a plush villa with a large, totally private pool for the most demanding guests. The French owners are extremely anticipating and friendly.

Wir haben im Oktober 2017 4 Nächte in einem der Bungalows direkt an einem Teich verbracht, obwohl eigentlich nur 2 geplant waren. Das lag an den tollen Tempelanlagen von Angkor, aber auch an dem wunderschönen Resort. Das französische Betreiberpaar und das gesamte Team geben sich sichtlich sehr viel Mühe, stehen mit Rat und Tat zur Seite, buchen Flüge oder Tuk-Tuk-Fahrten. Die gesamte Anlage und der schöne Garten sind sehr gepflegt, der Bungalow absolut sauber und die Ausstattung ließ keine Wünsche offen. Wir hatten eine sehr gute Paar-Massage. Zum Frühstück gab es ein kleines Buffet mit französischem Gebäck, Obst und Marmelade, Käse und Wurst. Dazu konnte man sich Omlet, Pancake oder Nudel/Reisgerichte bestellen.
Wir hatten leckere Cocktails an der Bar, die frischen Frühlingsrollen haben wir aber schon woanders besser gegessen.
Das Resort liegt etwas am Stadtrand, die Fahrt ins Zentrum kostet 3 USD mit dem TukTuk oder 20min Fußweg.

This place is beautiful. It is located near the city center but in a place with more space. The houses are perfect. The pool, which is beautifully designed and surrounded with Banana and palm trees is always a nice refreshment after a warm day of exploring. The owners are very friendly and glad to help with any request about food, drinks, trips. The staff is alsof really friendly, helpful and happy. If you pick this place, you'll have a great stay.
