For the price this is well set out.

Nice pool, ordinary restaurant, big rooms. Front office and cleaning

Some criticisms:
1. The guide they hired out for the day was hopeless and the staff instructing him were lazy. He didn't know that you need to buy tickets to the monuments first, and his English was bad enough that I couldn't tell him so we wasted an hour driving arohnd. Given the hotel charges far more than places in town don't book tours with them.
2. The hotel doesn't bother maintaining things, the tires in none of the bikes were inflated.

For the price reasonable place to stay, but would probably stay elsewhere again.

Lovely hotel , nice rooms and pool. Friendly staff. Needs to improve availability of service to poolside, menus should be available by pool and staff on hand. Lemongrass candles in rooms only put on arrival, should be refreshed daily when cleaners come to service rooms, as this makes the ambience of the room more relaxing and welcoming. I'd give it 5 stars if these small improvements were added.

Nice stay. The room was spacious and bathroom very clean. Balcony was small. Very courteous staff who greet with a smile all the time. The hotel arranges for sightseeing packages in tuk tuk or car on request. The hotel does not have a facility for currency exchange. But USD is accepted everywhere and you might as well finish the trip comfortably without exchanging to Riels.

A great resort where we've really enjoyed our holiday here.

For westerners expect a 3* PLUS resort (e.g. Best Western) with kid friendly facilities for youth hostel prices. Very good value. The staff speak good English and provide plenty of good advice. The water and ice are safe as they have a clean kitchen and a good quality waterfilter. We ate and drank here for a week and had a great time. There are plenty of sun loungers, a Jacuzzi, a reasonable restaurant, a gym, big rooms, excellent aircon, bath and double shower, and near zero insects.

The real gem here is the staff. They are incredibly humble, alternative, always welcoming and do their best to provide a great service.

Other, recent reviews, have made comments on quality and staff training. What we feel is missing in these reviews is context. This is not a developed country like the surrounding tourist hot spots (Bangkok, KL, Singapore, Hanoi, etc). Moreover, the staff are generally only one generation since the horrific civil war that executed most of the talent and 2 million people. When you put this hotel in the context of the country, like many other places on Cambodia, it's amazing!

On the location front, town is only 5 min tuk-tuk ride which is only $2. This gives a nice balance of being neer town, but far enough away from the noise and hustle. We spent a day visiting most of the temples (inc Angkor Wat at sunrise) with the hotel's tuk-tuk driver for only $21.

Definitely a recommend and we'd come back again.

Overall nice stay - the rooms are quite big, swimming pool is clean and the temperature is just nice (could go for a night swim). Downside was the shower area was leaking (so we had to bathe in the bathtub). Location is good as it is very close to pub street (5 mins by tuk tuk and only USD2 for a ride) and there are always hotel tuk tuk waiting outside of the hotel. Service is good although the beds are a tad too hard for me. Value for money.

Rooms are pool view, and they're also very clean. Although swimming pool is a bit small, still I could enjoy swimming. Breakfast is limited, yet the food is pretty tasty. Staffs are friendly and always give their smiles.

I would like to thank everyone for surprising my girlfriend.. She was so happy and you made her special day an extraordinary one.. The staff are all accommodating and super friendly.. The pool is nice and clean.. Rooms are spotless. The food is amazingly delicious and affordable.. Tuktuk drivers could speak other foreign languages, so it made us more comfortable. This hotel rocks and will definitely come back in the future.. Will recommend it to my friends.. Thank you very much Spring Palace Team :)

Beautiful new resort. Managed to get a great deal as just opened. Hardly anyone here yet !
great pool and friendly staff and very close to pub district. about 5 mins tuk tuk. prices for restaurant are very reasonable compared to pub street. Fell over backwards to look after you as newly opened.
