Sonalong is an absolutely perfect base for exploring Siem Reap and the Angkor Wat temple complexes. This beautiful and peaceful boutique hotel village is an absolute delight. The rooms are in individual buildings all overlooking a beautiful garden and pool area. The on site restaurant serves a great range of local foods and drinks. Vegetarians are well catered for. What makes Sonalong really special is Mr Hak and his incredible staff. Nothing was too much trouble, they were extremely helpful and friendly and they made this a truly wonderful stay. I would thoroughly recommend and I intend to return as soon as possible.

Great place. Reasonably priced and a fantastic pool. Clean. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Willing to go the extra mile (including getting up at 3am to give us breakfast when we headed out to the temples).

This place is really nice. The staff are super friendly and they work hard to make sure your stay is great, the food is amazing, the location is perfect(you walk to the main city/pub street in 10 minutes), the grounds are kept beautifully and Mr. Hok the manager is the best- hes almost always at the hotel 90% of the time, if you need him. If you go the desk wanting to explore or do excursions, He and his staff will set up reliable transportation via tuktuk and organize for you. I would recommend staying here if visiting Siem Reap

A well run and friendly hotel with a small number of appartments/rooms built around a quiet garden space. The multiple variety of trees lead to the secluded and relaxing small pool, bar and seating areas where food and drinks can be taken inside or out. The staff work hard at maintaining the clean and peaceful atmosphere. This is a genuine oasis only 10 mins walk or short Tuk Tuk ride from the lively city centre.

Amazing little getaway in Siem Riep. Off and away from the main Old Market / Pub Street madness, which is nice. Still a very fast walk or tuk tuk ride to anywhere. Very attentive and friendly staff, always looking to assist. Nice room with balcony. Only gripe was hot water only lasts about 3-5 minutes max. A very nice pool as well and bar at the pool. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a nice, inexpensive, and relatively quiet place to stay.

Relaxing and enjoyable. Check out was hassel free and the staff was kind. Getting drinks or food takes a while and it's okay. Would recommend going out to nearby restaurants and bars instead. Nice location and fantastic pool. Be careful with laundry because everything goes in the dryer and they don't really understand if you ask them to only wash things.

Rooms are nice, in a 2-stories bungalow style.silent with a great veranda to read in the day. The area to improve is the breakfast: not a buffet one, a bit poor compare to other hotel: Definitely a big minus!
