  I have stayed at Spayhiti twice now. The German owners are lovely. There is something very special about waking up and have a delicious egg breakfast prepared for you while over looking the quite inlet with fishing boats docked. The rooms are comfortable, the air conditioning is a welcome relief after a day on the beach, and the pool is refreshing. The location is great! It is still technically part of ochheuteal beach, but it is separated from the busy touristy area. Otres is a quick 10 minute walk over a little hill. Spayhiti now has private lounge chairs on the beach for guests.
  
  The second time we stayed there it was the Khmer New Year. I was one of maybe 5 westerners that I saw on the beach. I danced on the beach with a Cambodian family, talked with a family visiting Sihanoukville for the New Year and were eager to practice their English, swam in the ocean, and we became friends with the local woman selling beer, drinks and snacks across the road. She was so lovely and adored my Cambodian friend.
  
  Spayhiti is safe, comfortable, easy, chill and truly a lovely place to relax. Every time we stay, we end up extending our stay The longest has been 4 days, but next time it will be for a week at minimum. :) If you are looking for a place for dinner, we really enjoyed the Aloha Restaurant up the road. They took great care of us.
