Nice little Irish pub (Cambodian style).
There is actually Guinness, not on tap, but in a bottle at least!!!
I had Irish beef stew, which was really good. My wife got the pork ribs, which me lucky guy was allowed to eat, after she couldn't eat one more bite The ribs are fantastic! Really Fan Wait for it Tastic!

Holy porkoly !!! I ate here on Dec. 28 2017. I had the pork ribs with mash. The meat was falling off the bone and absolutely delicious ! For 7.75 us. The bbq sauce was equally spectacular and the mash had a hint of garlic and green onion. The owner was very nice as well as the staff. Seriously it was that good.
However I am not found of the location. Packed in the sihanoukville square which is where all the girlie bars are. That is not my scene. BUT if you go at about 5 pm none of those places are open and it is quite and hassle free ! I will be going back for ribs !!!

The most spectacular pork ribs in Sihanoukville. The meat slips off the bones with little effort required. That's the way food is supposed to be. Oh, and it's affordable. Other places, you're probably looking at $15+. At McGiness, under half that price.

Finest ribs, ice cold draught Guinness and cracking service!
A short walk from the main beach strip is well worth it, you'll be met with friendly, attentive owner and staff who take pride in serving up the classic pub food favorites.
I had scampi with salad whilst my boyfriend opted for the award winning ribs! We Really enjoyed both meals and light banter with the owner.
We arrived just as he was opening at 5 and within half an hour there was a steady stream of hungry travelers seeking Irish comfort food!

Came here with high expectations having seen an advert in Phnom Penh .
McGuinness' Irish. Cottage was truly outstanding . We ordered Pork ribs which will will be remembered forever as unique and superb. The other dish of Barramundi in white wine sauce with prawn s was amazing.
The chef made timeworn to check with and be welcoming with the other customer s while cookie away all evening. This was a five star meal and a very reasonable price.
I would come back every night if I could. A GEM of a find.

McGuinness's Irish Cottage is hidden away amongst a cluster of beer bars off Tola Street and is not exactly easy to find. Keep looking, because it's well worth a visit. The Irish owner and cook is very much in evidence, and as well as running around managing the kitchen he still has time to deal with customers if needed.

I chose the Cottage Pie, which was excellent and served with pieces of fresh broccoli. The price was US$5.75, plus US$1.75 for a bottle of Irish Stout.

I suggest you go early in the evening because they don't stay open late. It actually took me three attempts before I was able to try this place. The first time I went they were already closed. I went back the next evening just after 9pm only to be told they had no more food left. I don't mean certain dishes were unavailable, I mean they had absolutely no food at all left to offer. I asked why they still had two tables reserved if there was no food and was told that they were for a group of Russians who had pre-booked and there was only enough left for them. I would have given the place a higher star rating, but I can't do that for a restaurant that has no food available!

Very nice ribs. Meat fell off and no fat and a perfect sauce that was not too sweet and not spicy. 100% recommend.

I love to be able to say I tried lots of things on the menu but the reality is that the Ribs are so lovely I couldn't bring myself to order anything but Ribs. One day I skipped breakfast and lunch in order to have 2 portions. I hope more people add Google reviews as they are already top on TripAdvisor. Morris the Chef is a really sound bloke and I hope McGuiness Irish pub is still there when I return next year.
