Amazing place to stay with a very good restaurant. It’s the best resort on the island and you will live staying there

Amazing spot, quiet beach, very very friendly and attentive staff. Also this hotel has local and professional workers, unlike the hotels con koh rong that are full of foreigners without experience in service. Support the hotels and restaurants with local workers

Best place to stay during the island visit. Has the cleanest beach! You can check yourself by walking along the beach, where you have a lot of plastic garbage floating around
Additionally the staff is very friendly.
Food of the restaurant is excellent whereas not so big portions to satisfy big hunger.
Huts are very clean and comfortable.

Although the price seems a little too high, it is worth because of cleanest beach and very good restaurant and not so much noisy other tourists here!

Even tho I showed the westerner representative of the ferry company in detail, where I want to on this island, they dropped me on the wrong side.
All locals I met were obese, rude, arrogant and didnt smile. Even their dogs are fat.
They wanted to rip me off $50 to get me to my booked hostel on this island and $ 15 for sitting down at the beach.
Basic khmer food starts at $8.50. Westerner food at $16. Drinks tripple the mainland price.
There is just a very narrow beach full of "private" signs and price tags, where they herd the tourists efficiently, treating them like cattle. The rest of the island is mountain jungle and inaccessible.
Most pathetic and ridiculous tourist trap I ever saw.
How low can khmer people go?
    Here you find out

Highly recommend this place! Two hours after arriving we already tried to extend our 3 night stay to 5 nights but unfortunately they were full! Very clean and comfortable bungalows right on the beach front. Amazing service! They are there to greet you off the ferry to take your bags and take you back for a welcome drink. Very good food at the restaurant. We will definitely be coming back! A plus is that they are a very eco friendly resort, bear in mind this means no hot water or air conditioning, but we were very comfortable given the warm temperatures and fan.

Best food at whole Cambodia! We received everything one by one, had a wonderful view and the food was delicious 🤤
    Garlic Bread really tender
    Crispy vegetable spring rolls
The potato soup with its ginger flavour was the perfect replenishment
and the barracuda with frites and salad.. mhh especially the spicy sauce on the filet..
    Chardonnay Sauvignon Blanc ..
and the deep-fried bananas with Nutella .. just perfect dinner heaven👌🏻

The staff was even so nice and recommended us to share the fish, and we were really full :-)

Just got back from a 3-day stay. Far and away the best location on the island during the rainy season; the other side of the island bears the brunt of the monsoon tradewind fury, even further down this beach there are more wind and waves. But here, the water is absolutely calm, even on days when the ferry from Sihanoukville was cancelled due to rough weather. Check out the pictures. At night, the jungle sounds are amazing -- insects, frogs, birds, monkeys all play their parts. The bungalow is large, comfortable, well-designed and way better-built than the previous place we stayed, with lots of hooks and shelves for your stuff. Everything worked -- doors, lights, fans, toilet, etc. This is not always the case in Cambodia. The restaurant is very good -- we tried virtually every Asian dish on the menu (when in Rome), and they were uniformly excellent, lots of flavor without being too spicy. Look for the huge gecko in the beams above the dining room, and the local dog that sleeps under one of the tables that they have to shoo away every morning. Best of all was the friendly, helpful staff, all with that trademark Cambodia smile. I've been home only two days and already I want to go back.

    Laptop Warriors says,
Our last stop on Koh Rong Samloem was at Saracen beach and as amazing as these pictures are it still does not do it full justice :) We stayed at a little bungalow on the beach for $23 / night under bug nets while listening to the waves crash. First place on the island that had wifi so got to check our devices and get some work done while enjoying this amazing scenery. We said it before and saying it again but of everywhere Fraser Paterson & Nadine Shemilt have traveled #kohrongsmloem has the nicest most secluded beaches we have ever seen!

it's a place where you have to arrive anyway. People are nice, give you information, they know pretty everything. There's a wi-fi that works quite well.

Have eaten there (don't know about the room). The "Saracen Bay Big Platter" has no taste, requires sauce. Beef meat is chewy. Meals a bit higher but not exorbitant.
