Great location to watch the sunset. Staff was friendly and funny. The cocktails during the 2-4-1 happy hour were surprisingly good, strong and how they should taste! Food was good quality, but fairly pricey for Kampot.

Terrible experience. Gave our order, and were caught up talking and wifing for a while, before realizing it had been twenty minutes and our iced tea and mango shake hadn't arrived. Five minutes later they finally came. Then a few minutes later we started noticing tables around us, who'd arrived after us, receiving their food, including the dish that I ordered. It was almost an hour after we'd ordered before we finally got our food. I asked to speak to the manager and he also didn't come until I'd asked twice. Turned out to be the person who had taken our orders. Amazing.
When I explained what happened he apologized and made an excuse about being busy, and offered nothing to make for the incredibly, unbelievably bad service.
Also the BBQ pork is terrible, and the mango shake average.response / report this review -

Each time we come to Kampot we stop by for coffee or tea. The view from the terrace is really peaceful. The food is good, the atmosphere is nice. And usually it's a place you can find good conversation and meet new friends.

Recommending the restaurant. Its positoned in the main town area overlooking the river and has a wonderful ambience, especially at night or during sunset. The food is good with some vegetarians options. Desserts are delicious and the coffee is great!

This place is amazing, the owners and staff are so friendly and happy all the time. They make an effort to learn your name and can't do enough to make your stay enjoyable. The food is really good, got to try the fish amok!!
There is two for one cocktails from 5.00-7.00
So it is hard to leave here after a few cocktails and dinner. There is also a great view over the river as the restraunt/bar is on the first floor. We stayed for five nights and loved every minute of being here.

Stayed here for one night and also had lunch and drinks here. Great location right along the riverfront but just slightly towards the end of the main drag. Small, boutique setting. 2 for 1 happy hour drinks between 5-7pm. Lunch was yummy too. Had the Pepper Chicken Sandwich and it was great. Most meal options under $4.50.
Room #2 is right next to the kitchen, so it was a little loud around lunchtime and after dinner, if you're trying to get in an afternoon nap or be in bed around 10. Not a big fan of the skylights in the ceiling as it lights up the room at around 6 am. But overall a good experience.response / report this review -

The staff are amazing!! If the owner is reading this please know that the people you have working for you are incredible. The hotel food and drinks are really good and the location is fantastic. Staff are very helpful if you need anything or have any questions you should absolutely ask them. Highly recommend this hotel. Also the DVDs were a huge plus since my wife and I tended towards more relaxed and chill evenings.

Excellent food and drinks! Perhaps a wee bit expensive than others places nearby but definitely worth. I ordered the minced pork with smoked aubergine and it was perfect!

Great service with friendly staff. The food is excellent, Kampot Pepper burger is a must try. As is the Bloody Mary and Kahula Iced Coffee!

Oh it was a great decision to stay here. I was travelling alone and did not feel comfortable staying in a hostel. This place has the best location, very very good rooms and superbly clean, GREAT food and AMAZING staff. I had just learned how to ride a motor and I went to the mountain on it and had to be back in 3 hours but ended up coming back in 7 hours and all the staff was so genuinely worried for me and they were very very helpful. I would close my eyes and book this place.

Great food! The salad is cleaned with drinking water so I could eat it!! The staff are really friendly & like to practice their English (which is very good) with customers without being intrusive. Great views over the river.
