Oasis in Phnom Penh, great rooms in a relaxed atmosphere with an amazing team of friendly staff, nothing is too much trouble. Will return here any time I am in Phnom Penh

Beautiful place, only used the pool + restaurant, nice food, good drinks, helpful and friendly staff - sun is out (if u wanna sunbathe) midday but shady otherwise - good central location, will be back!

Love and peaceful oasis. Rooms are very large, beautifully appointed with modern decor and local touches. Great amenities. Outdoor bathtub at the balcony overlooking the salt water pool below. Free Breakfast and they are delicious. You have a choice of local Khmer breakfast and western selections. The staff are the best in the business. They are friendly, welcoming and helpful. They tend to your every needs, knowledgeable from restaurant recommendations, activities and nighlife. Location is very quiet and its a good five to ten minutes tuk tuk ride to town and most attractions. We had a wonderful experience and looking forward to coming back.

Well for starters it's in a quiet nice location. If one needs to go into town it's only ten minutes away. Tuk tuks are easily available. Three four dollars at the most to the night market or palace or museums.
The salted pool is a unique concept. Avoids all the disadvantages and side effects of Otherwise heavily chlorinated pools and salt is a natural disinfectant great for the skin.
Kudos to them for the idea.

They Attend to the smallest details ever so meticulously. It's a pleasure being looked after by them.
The owner Dirk of course Is a unique soul. He ensures silently that somehow every guest gets exactly the dream experience they were there to experience. Kudos Dirk.. God Bless you.
What no one knows is a lot of staff who work for the Rambutan are being looked after by the management not only as employees. The hotel helps with their educational needs, family needs, medical needs etc too. The Rambutan group looks after roughly over 500 local families.
That's why it's so unique.
I'd recommend that you stay at the Rambutan always.. It's more than just a hotel.. It's Cambodia truly experienced in its own unique way.response / report this review -

Very nice hotel with nice rooms and the friendliest staff. The breakfast was great as well, no buffet but a la carte. The hotel is in a quite street which is nice, a bit out of town though but easily accessible by tuk tuk.
