Nice clean rooms. Attractive pool. Food was good. Staff is super friendly. My room was at the top of some absurdly steep outdoor stairs. If you have mobility issues that room could be a problem. I don't think most rooms are like that though. Location is good. 5-10 minute walk to the part of town you want to spend your nights in as a tourist.

Our room was two stories, the main living floor with the beds and bathroom, and then the outdoor deck on the second floor with the sitting area, stone bathtub and shower.

The hotel is located in an ally that cars can't navigate, but is easily reachable by tuk tuk. The staff was very helpful and the were able to book us a cooking class that was fantastic.

Breakfast is included, as is the 30 minute foot massage. Right across the street from the Night Market, 5 minute walk to the Old Market.

Wonderful resort. Staff are so warm and friendly. Room are nicely decorated. We stayed at a villa with traditional and modern touches incorporating wood, concrete and metal crafts and styles. The breakfast was wonderful with western and local options. Lunch and dinner was great and they have an awesome cocktails. Location is just a short walk from Pub Street and the Night Market. The hotel is located in a small lane away from traffic and noise. Will definitely come back.

Wow. Outstanding experience. Hotel staff was so nice and personal, spoke great English, and made THE BEST cocktails. Only complaint my friends had was their bed was a bit stiff.

Definitely gets my best recommendation for friends, family, anyone staying in the area.

Rambuttan is a Haven in itself. One is introduced to a quietly efficient yet beautifully serene atmosphere in this wonderful hotel.
Set amidst tall leafy trees, the emerald green cover presents a soothing coolness in the otherwise hot and dusty Siem Riep heat.
The unique salted pool is designed to be an alternative to chlorine and its side effects. It's a brilliant idea.
The staff are always smiling, ready to assist at a moments notice.. Be it something trivial relating to the hotel or even a problem that may be of a more personal nature.
Dirk the owner is a genial, warm and wonderful host and personally ensures that his guests are attended to with utmost efficiency.
Food wise the menu offers a fairly large choice and is delicious. Prices are extremely reasonable.
Breakfast is made for you fresh. No cold buffet lying around since 6 am.
You order they make Right there It's all served hot n fresh.
The Rambutan has its own list of polite reliable and English speaking tuk tuk drivers who will take you to the Angkor Wat complex and anywhere else you may want to go,or even just spend the day with you in town showing you around.
Tour prices are not at all exorbitant as some hotels in the town tend to charge.
Housekeeping is efficient and I think staying here is a choice one will never regret.
    I'll certainly be back.

Can't say enough great things about this place. One of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. Simply elegant, beautiful and tropical. I could live here. The staff was super nice and helpful and the food and location was amazing. Would recommend this place to gay, straight, young, old, single or group travelers. Can't go wrong. And the rooms were also just to die for. We had a stone tub on our balcony! C'mon!

Stayed here as the first part of our honeymoon in Nov 16. Great welcome with complementary drink and explanation of tours etc, even allowed us to check in early.
Room (deluxe double) is a good size with air con and balcony with bath outside. Really nice pool and bar area for relaxing, the compact size and the pool being the focal point gives it a nice atmosphere, doesn't feel like a soulless resort.
Good breakfast with a range of options, European and Khmer. The hotel booked a tour guide and tuk tuk for us and prices were reasonable.
Hotel is located about 1 min from night market and 5 mins walk from Pub street.
Staff really nice and attentive. Really enjoyed our stay.

Loved this place the first time so came back for more. The courtyard setting is gorgeous and very relaxing. The food is super tasty and reasonably priced, the pool and the outdoor bath tubs so relaxing, and the staff and free foot massage are fantastic. A great resting place for your visit to Angkor. Fully recommended :D

A wonderful hotel with some of the best cocktails I had in Siem Reap. The rooms are incredibly spacious, I even had two storeys to accommodate me as a lone traveler. It can get noisy if there are drunk revellers outside, but the amazing staff is on hand 24 hours to take care of things. I cannot recommend this place enough.
