The reasons I gave two stars instead of 0:
Location: 5/5 - located very close to the centre and the markets.
Staff: 5/5 - very friendly, helpful, and will try their best to do whatever is required.
The reasons I gave two stars instead of 4 or 5:
Room cleanliness: 1/5 - my room smelled like it was cleaned once in 1987, the sheets werent that clean, the walls looked horrid, and the paintings and other ornaments were covered in dust (also circa 1987).
Since I stayed here around NYE, they probably thought I needed company and so gave me the gift of bed bugs which made it very hard to sleep without anything in return.
The shower was not bad, wih hot water and all, but the 'apparatus' that supplies the hot water looks like a prop from a horror movie, including the pliers that were left on top in case I wanted to make any 'adjustments'.
Stay here only if you have to, but otherwise not worth the money (40 USDs / night in my case).response / report this review -

No toothpaste, No bottles of water, unclean bed sheets. I book in high season. They don't have the driver to pick up. The room i booked was given to another person. The staffs are friendly

Nice pool and pool deck, smaller in person than in their pictures. Breakfast included, choice of 2 set menus, western or asean. Rooms were fine. Friendly staff.
Hired a tuk tuk through them to see the ruins for 3 days, very friendly driver. He picked us up from airport for free so felt obliged to use him for the tour.
Great location, quieter road (but a bit of construction during the day during our stay). Very close to pub street and many restaurants.response / report this review -

awesome location and great price. rooms are basic but they've got aircon, fridge & hot water so can't complain. Pool is nice and staff are super friendly. Would recommend!

Staff is struggling with basic English. Requested rooms were not available on the day of the arrival and part of the group had to spend the night in another hotel (bookings were arranged months earlier). Breakfast was rather poor. Many rooms have problems with shower drainage. Mine had also problem with the sink drain. No tea or coffee provided in the room. Scattered cleaning tools left on the back staircase, drying lines visible at the end of the corridor on 2nd floor. "Fresh" towels left by the room service were slightly wet.
