Always from the crowded at bakeng mountain, This is the best/better place to watch a sunset and hey..no tickets needed for foreigners. Go to the top of the mountain and continue to the hill behind the temple!!!

An incredible sunset view from the 9th century temple over the natural lake and rice paddy. You can climb up a little hill or ride the car. You will need the Angkor pass.

This is the best place to watch the sunset or sunrise! Great views spanning the horizon from high in the sky.

Be careful if you don't have a temple pass. You have to get a ticket down at the entrance. Sunset is pretty amazing if any is clear.

Good views but fresh air is not guaranteed as there are many scooters about. Cambodias rebellious youth can sometimes be found drinking beer and blasting music on the way up, taking the spirituality away! The temple at the top is stunning! Some people drive up to the temple but I recommend waking as it’s good but not tiring exercise.

Phnom Krom is one of the most popular place for tourists & local people. The mountain itself has beautiful views. This mountain is considered to be one of the most popular place for sunsets. Once you reach the top, you will see an ancient temple built about 900 years ago. If you look to the South and East you will see wonderful views of the Great Lake, the largest fresh water lake in Asia ( Tonle Sap in Khmer).

Great view of tonle sap from top. Also is a nice spot for watching sunset and sunrise. But to get the best of the location wait till night for the moon. Its a whole different experience.

At the Phnom Krom mountain it's the first time for me that I went there with my father when I was young boy and it's the first time again that I met my girl friend and started to fall in her love . Because her house it's very close to there. I know her when she studied at the secondary school but now after working me and my friend always go there to get the fresh air and relaxing from working and studying. We can visit sun rise or sunset as well so it the good place that we need to go after the Angkor wat should be go there to visit.

Amazing sunset. Multiple spots to enjoy the view. One of the rare hill around, that you can climb by bike. The three temples at the top of the hill are older than Angkor Wat and in advanced dilapidated state.

This is an amazing place for sunset, walk all the way to the back of the temple for best spots. You can either hike all the way up the mountain, or use the back road to scoot/bike/drive up the mountain. Some tuk tuk drivers don't know about the back road, ask locals. Be aware once you turn off road 63, the street becomes bumpy, if you're cycling here, be extra careful with the road surface!

Tranquil hill top pagoda overlooking view of Tonle Sap Lake, floating village and rice field. Very beautiful for sunset view. There is also one small ancient temple on the hilltop.
