  Built later-on, in the 16th century and in different material. It is located at the east side of the temple complex and was constructed especially for the King. It remains a bit of a mystery on what purpose it was built and added to the existing complex .

  This is a dilapidated brick structure added after the Khmer period. This is not aesthetically appealing. Feels like an aberration in the magnificent complex.

  An old stupa, which was built in 16th century, was located in the east of Angkor Wat temple. That Stupa is small and the reason why it is there is still in mystery. Basically, the stupa is for a king. However, it is also one of the most famous destination of those who are visiting Angkor Wat temple, since they are curious about why it is there and why a king stupa is that small. If you want to find out the truth and discover Cambodia's mysterious things, that is a good place for your preference.
