First stop on a beautiful beach with cold beers. To me that heralds arrival in Paradise. Really sleepy service though.

Location: 10/10, right on the pier
Price: 55$/night/bungalow air con sea view
Quite clean, kayak boat + boxing area free, best view, nice dogs, clean water right outside the bungalow
Not enough food if late order, mosquitoes, only 2 big towels + 1 flip flop for 2 pers, can’t check in soon although no one else at booked bungalow and no one keep your suitcases cause haven’t checkin counter.response / report this review -

Service is absolutely terrible. Sat down and 40 minutes later still no menu to look at. Instead, others that came after I sat down got served first! Gave up on waiting, had to go up to cashier to order a cup of tea which by the way took forever to get too. Since it was a cold, rainy day, I ordered a 2nd cup of hot tea. 30 minutes later. You guessed it, no 2nd cup of tea. No notice. No service. No one to ask. I gave up on waiting and had to get up to even ask for check. The cashier claimed I had 2 cups of tea when the 2nd cup never arrived at my table.
Worst restaurant and seems like worst resort on the island based on other reviewers and ratings too. Save your time. Go else where.response / report this review -

The only issue I had with this place was the price. We went during a holiday and this was the only place available, compared to other resorts on the island it was a disappointment. The flush was broken and the sink was blocked, at one point the sink was full of worms from fly larvae after we had asked staff to unblock the drains. We booked an extra bed which also hadn't been prepped and was simply a fold out camping bed costing $15 extra per night! Normally none of this would have bothered us greatly, except that we were paying double or triple the normal prices and rooms costing only $10 more further along had quality and amenities 10 times better! I definitely wouldn't refer anyone. That being said, the island is incredible and we still had a brilliant time there.

Great place to enjoy. Room is ok little hot at noon because no air condition. But good point is the staff is REALLY FRIENDLY always smile and helpful. Food is good taste and ofcourse a bit more expensive than the main land.

Very beautiful. We walked over from the other side and had a swim and some food and beers. Staff are all English expat. There's snorkel hire and everyone is only too happy to help. It's a little pricey but you are paying for the view.

The room was a little over priced and I thought I was getting the beach front bungalow and I got one at the back. But I had a very comfortable stay here.

First of all, let me say that I have no problem with budget accommodation per se. I've stayed in many around the world and, although basic, most have been clean and everything works. Not so with this place. Bit of a long story that I won't bore you with but we were supposed to have an air conditioned bungalow for 5 days but at the last minute we were bumped from this because the owner want to use it for personal guests of his. We were then stuck with more basic bungalows, and a different one each night for some reason. What a hassle that turned out to be. As for the bungalows, let me say that my garden shed is in better condition. They were dirty, leaky roof in one of them, light bulbs not working, wafer thin mattress in another, brown water from taps, and generally very shabby and very poorly maintained. To cap it all, we had two further issues with the place - on one night, we returned to our bungalow to find 6 tents pitched right outside, and the occupants sitting around cooking dinner and making a helluva racket. No peace there, then. On the next evening, the owner and his guests set up a party right next to the bungalows, and this involved very loud (really crap) music at maximum volume and lots of shouting and singing into the night, with no regard to paying guests trying to sleep. I did complain to him at the time, but water off a duck's back. Absolutely no regard for anyone else. I like a good party as much as anyone else, but this really was taking the mick. We decided to cut our losses and baled out the next day, having got another much superior bungalow further along the beach. What a difference. So, the message is, avoid this place like the plague. It really is awful.

I just went there while I was waiting for my ferry. The prices are unreasonable high. I had a pancake and it was a joke. I never seen such a small pancake. I also ordered a coffee and had to pay one additional dollar for "fresh milk". Ridiculous. But the view is kinda nice and the waiter does not bother u, so it's ok if you have to kill some time.
