Okay so plenty of reviews talking about how dirty this place is and to not go here. Yes, it is a bit tired, and yes it is a bit dusty, but the sheets are clean, the hotel room itself is really nice and modern, the TV and AC work, the view over the river is beautiful! Shower is nice and hot. Sure, you're paying more than other hotels in PP, but if you really wanted a 4-5 star experience, you'd expect to pay hundreds anywhere in the world, not 40usdI was happy to pay the 40 dollars to have a nice shower and bath with a beautiful view in a huge air conditioned room!

Filthy dirty rooms. This place has gone downhill. Staff can care less and management never again. Your feet will be black after 1 minute walking in the room. Bed sheets and towels dirty. I left atter 1 night and will never stay here again. Not even for free!!!

Used to be good, now everything is low quality. The breakfast was tasteless, bread was stale, coffee doesn't taste like coffee, it was a disastrous breakfast. Room was uncleaned, the toilet was unflushed when I checked in, service was horrible. Overall experience just shouts that the night was worth as much as what one should pay for a hostel. The budget hostel down the road was even cheaper, full and had better service.

We were hungry and came across Niron Hotel cafe, and decided to give it a try.Ordered fish amok, lok lak beef, tom yum noodles, sour fish soup with a 1 for 1 martini (promotion)
The predominant taste in all dishes was salty and there was no unique flavour in any of the dishes. Portions were also verz small. The meal was expensive amounting to a pricey USD27.
The worst part was to find a piece of rubber band in the lok lak beef with lots of gravy and onion strips . I didn't realise it till I pulled it out of my mouth!!
The worst dining experience ever .

So bad - no hot water, sheets weren't changed and terribly stained, cockroaches and spider in room. Dust and spiderwebs on glasses. Avoid!

The hotel might used to be nice but it has aged badly. We had a smelly room. changed for a new one but it has a water leakage. For Breakfast, we sometime had what was planned, sometime not (no fruits )

The hotel can best be described as decrepit and sleazy. It is situated in a seedy part if the town which becomes unfit for decent people after night fall. Drunken brawls and prostitution is rampant here and Niron seems to be in the thick of the scene. We were booked in here for three nights but stayed here only one night, that too to get our money back as we would have lost all our deposit. We got our money back the next morning and went to stay at a better place for about the same.price. the room we were given at Niron was dirty, the toilet was blocked, the bed side lamp broken, the AC not working. It was full of ants and other insects. The only good thing about it was the view. The whole place has a feeling of neglect and lack if hygiene. Do not waste your money on this hotel. You can find better properties in a nicer part of town and along the river front for the same price. Do not shortchange yourself with this hideous place.

Don't trust the pictures on their website. Absolutely bad. Most of the fixtures in its rooms are either broken or placed in an impractical space. Miserable.

As Bitcoiner and all time high value, I wanted to treat myself instead of taking basic sleeping room while in the capital.
i booked thru Expedia as they accept bitcoin payments.
I choosed Niron for: Swimingpool, Riverside location, and stylish room pictures
Swimingpool was closed as privatly booked, complaining, I got a $5 discount/refund.
Room looks nice but quite small.
Huge 40" flat TV which I had to reset as very few channels, cables hanging below the screen
A heavy rain did leak some water on the floor
Not enough hot water to fill the bathtub, only one large towel (booked 2 pax) and half used bubble soap tube
Dust on the window frame and plastic trash between bed and sidetable.
Broken side bed glass lampshade, bit dangerous
Unusable wifi
Low battery in the safe
Management should really supervise more seriously as I will try some other place next time in PP and will not give recommendations for this place.
A bit sad as if the details were taken care, this place would be quite fine, mainly due to it's location and style.

Staff were devoted to ensuring you had a great time. I personally enjoy the pond you walk over as you travel though reception.

I stayed 2 nights in Jan.
The room i booked was thr small ones facing thr back. With absolutely no view. And did get a little noisy from time to time.
Location was pretty good and close to the night market and old market.
The riverside does have a some late night restaurants and bars for those after that.
The hotel staff were friendly.

Room is nice, cleaned, high ceiling, city view is lovely specially at night time. I could see boat cruise go round in Tonle Sap river.

I do enjoy coffee here, taste good. 😚

Very beautiful boutique hotel, friendly young beautiful staff. Good location. The bad thing here is that they advertised a swimming pool but the pool is in a private room and if someone is in there you cant use the pool. That sucks really bad.
