Staying here was Beautiful experience. Love the theme of this hotel. Food is probably the best on the island. Rooms are beautiful too.

I learned when I arrived that the facility is under new management (but the ownership did not change). The new management decided not to honor any prior bookings made on a booking site with a credit card. After 4 calls with the booking website, I was able to secure a refund and paid for a room with cash. The room was not well maintained. Something kept oozing up from the floor. An outside bathroom can be difficult to clean, but the glass covering was shattered. On the positive side, the restaurant provided good food and the staff was pleasant and attentive. There was no housekeeping service. A novel place but in my opinion, it is overrated.

Very quirky accommodation and of a high quality - white domes with a sky light, nice comfortable beds and a tv. Wonderful part of Koh Rong Samloem - Right in the centre of Saracen Bay which is absolutely breathtaking - soft white sands, crystal clear ocean waters, quiet peaceful and no one around. Moonlight do fantastic pizzas and the best place on Saracen Bay for nice chilled white wine!

If you stick of the Rat Race and don't want anyone to find you.this is the place . Rooms are the coolest you have ever been in with circular bed looking up to a glass view of the sky. White sand. Warm sea. Down side, cold showers and pick the right season to comeunless you like the rain.

Blue Moon Restaurant at Moonlight resort had some of the best pizza we have ever had anywhere in the world! 14 inch thin crust pizzas are the perfect combo of soft and crunchy bases, with delicious toppings. As a couple who eat well, we struggled to finish two pizzas between us, both off them under $10 USD each too. The waitresses were all smiles and gave great service, would recommend Blue Moon highly!

We stayed here for 6 nights over the Khmer new year for my birthday and I have to say that I couldn't of picked a better place to be. I have been traveling to Asia since the mid 80's and Koh Rong Sanleom reminds me of Thailand in the early 90's only better due to fresh water and power.

There are no bikes or cars on the island and the transport is foot or boat. Electricity is all supplied by generator that each resort has, so you have to expect it to go off a few times a day.

While at Moonlight we stayed in a Dome which was perfect. The air conditioning was heaven at night. The room was of a good size, the bed large, bathroom clean and only about 50 metres to the beach.

Saracen bay is a very protected cove and virtually zero wind so expect it to very very warm and humid.

The food they had at the restaurant was amazing. So tasty and yummy. The Cambodian dishes were perfect as was the pasta and my girlfriend loved the chocolate mousse for desert.

It was Khmer new year which means that most people Cambodians pack up and go home for the special event. So the service was quite slow.

The breakfast included we had on the balcony of our dome most mornings and was perfect.

We had access to the WiFi out front on the balcony and in the restaurant which was great but really enjoyed just lying around reading books.

The water out the front was around 28 degrees celsius so you can quite easily stay in there for hours at a time.

The staff were all very friendly and happy but like much of Cambodia limited in English so try and not get frustrated.

We did the walk over to Sunset beach a few times which was great.

Moonlight Resort is by far the best place on the island and one to stay and well worth it.

Koh Rong Sanleom is clean quite and will go down as one of the best islands I have been to.

Moonlight Resort is known for its hospitality and an igloo or dome shaped bungalows, hidden quietly in the Saracen Bay of Koh Rong Samloem. It is a haven for those seeking a peaceful get-away from the daily busy life. If you are visiting the island just for a day-trip, it's not worth it. You will miss the best of it's offer. So I would suggest you to at least plan for 2-4 days to enjoy the best of the island and explore deep into the virgin forest or swim in the vast azure water. I really love the place. The owner was kind enough to send us the boat and took us to and fro from the ship pier to their resort for free. Even their staffs were kind, and the breakfast was awesome. I wish I had stayed longer. I would love to visit again the island in the future. Kudos!!!
