Perfect place for backpackers. So much accommodation. Dorm 3-5$ per night. So much bars around, nice beach and sea.

The beach was very dirty but the people are very friendly and there is an awesome Dutch diving school which you should check out!

This village is a garbage dump rather than a beach resort. A few bars, many dogs, a lot a lot a lot of waste and dirt, much noise (construction sites), and not inviting at all. Planned to spend several days here but left after 2 nights, very disappointing experience. Cannot recommend going here for swimming or anything beach-related.

This bay is less chic than Saracen Bay but that's what I like about it. It's like you come to a small village with just some hostels, which perfectly fit in the environment. There is a good beach (but not that beautiful as Saracen) and a lot restaurants. And the other travelers I met there were really cool and relaxed. But there is not much to do except sun bathing and diving, so it gets a little bit boring after a few days.

Lovely village with nice people. Stayed her for 5 days. Relaxed small fishing village with still a choice of eating places.

M’Pay Bay (or M’Pei Bei) means 23 in Khmer. The village consists of one street with a sandy road. Life is slow, simple, relaxed. Men go fishing and do construction work. Women cook, wash cloth, clean houses and care for children. Both also work for tourists (boat tours, homestays, restaurants). Children play, laugh, cry and grow.
