If you have kids, this is the only place to stay! Table tennis, Foosball, kayaks, bicycles, swimming in the river right in front of the guesthouse, sheep grazing on the lawns, piles of DVD's, a cupboard full of board games, soccer nets and a badminton court!! The food is excellent and huge portions all served in big bowls as you would have at home. I can't rate it enough! One of the best places we've ever stayed!

The only problem : you don't want to leave the place
Family and charming "guest-house" in front of the river. You don't have to go in Kampot, everything is in. Good food, good bungalows and good staff!
If you rent a bungalow for numbers of people, it's very cheap place (7$/pers). The food is fresh and good (3$ for breakfast; 5$ for lunch and 7$ for dinner). Of course, the alcool is a expensive but that's normal!response / report this review -

Love the location. The people are nice, and the houses are cute. Wish the amenities were more in line with the price. As for location and the beauty of nature, this place is tops. Food on the other hand was not what we had hoped for. Many menu items were unavailable, out of 7 dishes ordered, 3 were incorrect, and it was pricey even compared to the Riverside.

The features in the rooms can be a bit variable - our shower isn't great for instance. But the location is great, very relaxing, staff are quite attentive without being overbearing. Good selection of things to do for families. View of the river is wonderful.

The best place in Kampot to stay when you're travelling with your family. The food is good and the staff is really nice. There was a problem with the water pressure during our stay but they are fixing the problem. Do take the night boat!
