Newly renovated Hospital. There are florish, playground. But part of the building is renovated from some kind flat which the structure isn't that high standard. The price is a a little bit high compare to the standard provided.

Khema Clinic--both the boutique hospital in Toul Kork and the full hospital in BKK1--is the best medical facility in all of Cambodia, including the international clinics and the Thai hospitals.

I have been a patient of Dr. SOM--the majority owner and executive director--since 2008, when he had only one examination room and two patient beds.

His success was born of a vision to pool all of the best physicans in Cambodia under one roof. Now, visiting pyschians from all over ASEAN come to work at the clinic and the hospital.

It is rare for the top decision-maker of a medical facility or hospital to actually be a practicing medical doctor--but when it happens you get a facility in which patient care is paramount.

I have been recommending Dr. SOM and his associates for nearly a decade now. And I suppose the best thing I can say is that not one recommendation ended poorly. In fact, every person I have sent there--either Cambodian or foreigner--has switched to Khema permanently.

Another indication of its excellence is that all medical professionals want to work there. Go into a U-Care pharmacy and ask the pharmacist about Khema Clinic. See for yourself.

Moreover, although private (but accepting all major insurance), it is significantly cheaper than the 'international' clinics in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap, as well as the large private hospitals--yet it offers significantly superior patient care with physicans that have better training and more experience.

The reason Dr. SOM went from the head of infectious disease at the largest private hospital--with only a single examination room private clinic to owning, directing, and practicing at not one, but two private full-scale hospitals is because he offers the best, most experienced service in the entire country.

Living abroad with chronic medical issues can be challenging--and sometimes just damn scary. Meeting Dr. Som was one of the more fortunate events in my decade and a half in ASEAN.

Quick, efficient, and helpful. The staff were all very kind and knowledgeable. I'm not sure what the going rate is in Cambodia, but the $89 I paid was well worth the service, advice, medicine, and most importantly peace of mind.

    First class experience
This is my review for Khema Clinic in Street 294 # 28, Phnom Penh.
After a bleeding scratch by a monkey, I came to the Khema Clinic to get advice about possible infections. I was interviewed by a doctor in detail about the circumstances of the injury and then he explained the possible but low risk of rabies. The doctor consulted a second doctor for his second opinion before their treatment recommendation. The doctors then recommended a 5-part acute rabies vaccination. The assessments corresponded exactly to the results of my later internet research as well as to the subsequent medical assessment of my doctor in Germany. The hospital is top equipped. Everything is the newest and the most modern. Beds, furniture, utensils and consumables, everything was faultless. All was spotless and clean, also the rooms. Everything runned very well: the interaction of the medical personnel, the preparation and stringing of the instruments, vaccine components, disposable syringes and cannulas, the subsequent documentation of the treatment. Before touching the material and before vaccinating, the medical staff thoroughly disinfected the hands and then applied new disposable rubber gloves. There was a medical examination at each of the vaccination days since the incubation period can be very short in seldom cases. The entire staff was absolutely friendly, from the reception through the nursing staff to the doctors. I was called before the next vaccination, to make sure that I don't forget the date. After each vaccination session, I received a written overview of the status of the treatment and the remaining vaccination dates. Because of my travel scedule, I had to have my last vaccination at night. Also then there was a doctor available who knew about the upcoming treatment steps and the procedure was the same as on the previous dates, during the daytime. The whole treatment couldn't have been better in Germany. Therefore my impression of the clinic is first class.

When my 19 year old son had a terrible motorcycle accident in Southwest Cambodia, our travel insurance company, World Nomads, went to work to find the very best care available with the goal of stabilizing and transporting him back to the USA for further treatment. Khema Clinic and Dr. Ry Sina were identified and they transferred him while we were enroute from USA to Cambodia. The facility, staff and treatment were first rate and we could not be more grateful for the excellent care given. Thank you Khema Clinic, Dr. Sina and staff!
