Been here for lunch and spent the whole afternoon here. The food was very good (try the kampot pepper tasting menue), the staff remarkably friendly and skilled. The place is total peace and silence, very propper with great, well maintained swimming facilities. Think it's also a great place to stay.

Nice spot on the river and the water appears to be remarkably clean for swimming. The restaurant overlooks the water and had a nice relaxed feel. Food portions are small, but well presented and tasty! A few midges at lunch.

Such a wonderful surprise! Greenhouse has been the highlight of our trip throughout SE Asia so far.

Wonderful setting in the jungle/forest and with the amazing view of the river!

Staff were so lovely!! Very friendly and helpful and entirely professional. They are trained to European standards but still have the amazing Cambodian hospitality. This is incredible considering that this is a budget hotel.

The food was amazing!! Some choices at low budget as well as delicious food at higher end too. Plus they had great options for vegetarians also. Was so surprised to find food of this high quality - and at a reasonable price.

I also love that they are conscious of the environment. An example - providing glass bottles in the rooms and offering unlimited refills of filters water to reduce usage of plastic bottles.

Bungalows are simple but perfectly comfortable. Would recommend you book in advance, as it seems to be fully booked a lot of the time We were very lucky to be able to book at the last minute! Because they did not have the availability, we stayed 1 night in a $30 room (hot water but not on the riverfront) then moved for 2 nights to a $25 room (cold water and garden view) and it was definitely worth the hassle of changing rooms as this place is amazing. The riverfront rooms (river view and hot water) are $35 and I think they would be totally worth the price They just didn't have any available when we came.

We used the kayaks ($2/hr) which was a lovely experience.

Thank you so much to all the team at Greenhouse for the wonderful stay. We loved it!

After 10 years of travelling this region, I can easily put Greenhouse between my top 3 spot allover Asia.

The central complex and the bungalows are amazing, submerged in the jungle on the side of the river with nobody around you. It's THE PLACE where you can relax for real and forget about everything!!!

    The food is another topic.
I have no idea how they can manage, but the type of dishes is so right and the quality of the raw materials is so high that can outnumber lots of fancy European restaurants.

The base of the food is a well balanced and intriguing mixture between Khmer and french couisine.

The staff is amazing, super helpful, always smiling (like everyone else from this beautiful country) and super reliable and suggestions and problem solving!

I have spent the best time in Cambodia at the Greenhouse, and in the future, when I will be back, this place will be one of the main reasons!

Really nice place to relax. A bit far from kampot down town but they rent motorbikes so this is not really an issue. Food is good people are kind and the place is really a little heaven.

Loved my weekend stay there. Food was so good. Prices were so reasonable. Bungalows are beautiful and clean (made of wood and bamboo)! Amazingly I found sockets inside! Great views of Kampot waterways. I'd do kayaking and swimming next time! One of the best places I love to stay at when I am in Kampot!

Not sure what the fuss is over this place. Ride a km down a bumpy dirt path to arrive at a basically empty cafe where the servers are no help. They charge 50 cents for a spoonful of jam. They delivered my order wrong but I didn't even bother to complain because the staff was so unhelpful. Definitely not worth the trek

It's painted green and they grow their own greens but I was expecting a 'green' menu with lots of vegetarian options unfortunately just the usual boring fried rice or noodles which looked bland. By 2pm it got pretty hot and I was surprised to see no fans in the restaurant or on the terrace. Nice location though to stop for a drink. Don't forget your swimmers.

The view is best out of Kampot. Relaxing atmosphere. But the wooden house was okay not designer one. Don't expecting high class. Just simple life.

    A fantastic oasis!
This place is amazing. The staff are absolutely gorgeous, they are hosts and know how to make you feel at home.
The outlook is amazing, you can rent kayaks and explore the river.
The accommodation is basic but the towels are beautiful and soft, the shower has good water pressure and the beds are gloriously comfy.
The food is SO DELICIOUS from breakfast through dinner. They have a great wine selection and games for all guests to enjoy.
    Greenhouse is magic!
