Standard embassy. Long waits even with an appointment. Don't expect any flexibility or creative thought from the staff caught up in bureaucratic rigor.

If you are just an ordinary people, you can still enter here. There is a library there, simply ask for IRC library at the entrance, and you can a glimpse of what inside the embassy. There are also temporarily, impressive books of all kind stored in the it.

Was there today, for notary services. I arrived an hour early, and everything was done in two hours. A very normal embassy experience. The only thing was the Cambodian guards who received me, who were typical Cambodian officials looking for money. Held me back and asked me many unnecessary questions, then took my money and held it up to the light, and said: this is a lot. Very uncomfortable. Other than that, very good. The Americans working at the embassy were probably some of the nicest Americans I've met while traveling.

Love the way they support Cambodian youth! There are so many great events happen in the embassy. You can get the chance to learn and meet so many future potential leaders from various places in Cambodia when they're gathering here!
