Best bar on the beach

Bar was nice, speaker set up needed improving. Next to a dirty part of the beach. Unfortunately land has been sold for development and dolphin shack is no more.

The food was the worst I had in the whole stay in Cambodia I'm sorry but there was no effort to retain us as customers and purely a one hit wonder. Sorry I hate giving bad reviews but I even left the food couldn't eat it.

DO NOT SUPPORT THESE GUYS!
They appear to have a big party every night that looks enticing but I attended their Boat Party and gave my bag to the guy who works there taking bags to store for you as you board the boat, only to be told that my bag was missing when I went to get off the boat. With that being said, I was the first one to get off and searched everyone getting off the boat after me, then I went back on the boat with the workers who tried to "help me search for the bag" (even checked the engine room? Like why would it have made its way down there anyway?) And never found it that night.
I went back to the bar the next day and talked to the owners brother apparently and was told "Yeah, I can probably find your bag, how much are you willing to pay?" Couldn't make it more obvious that they clearly stole it. He then asked me where I was staying and that he would bring the bag back in a few hours if I paid $200 USD. When he arrived at my hostel a few hours later, he said "Oh one of my guys found it on the pier just about an hour ago" As if a little bright neon green draw string bag sat on a extremely busy pier for over 24 hours and was never touched. Not to mention it should have still been in the bag check on the boat, never put on the pier.
When I opened up the bag, $600 was missing, (yes I know it was dumb to have that amount on me, but I had to hit the ATM twice to pay back a friend) My speaker was missing, and my Power Bank, along with a few other small things. He the proceeded to tell me I still owe him $200 more. I told him, he already got $600, to which he said "I didn't, the other guys must of"
When I got back to my hostel the receptionist and bartenders told me they have heard of Dolphin Shack crew doing these sort of things all the time. Not to mention I have now heard many people talking about them getting their drinks spiked there and other shady activity. When I finally talked to a police officer he said they get many complaints about this place. And I guess they delete most of the negative comments from review websites as they can. Which from a business owners stand point I can understand but take it for what you will, but I will NEVER be back to their bar or boat party, and I highly suggest you stay away as well. There are plenty of other parties in the area to attend, just at JJs which is just a few bars down, Otres Beach Parties, Jungle Party every Wednesday, and a great little gem with the cheapest drinks around just up the road from the beach called Utopia.response / report this review -

Best late night Western bar in town. All the staff are crazy party animals but great fun. The free shots and nightly theme promotions are also a fun way we got free drinks. They do a booze cruise party boat as well full of pirate's that was a great day out. Awesome bar!
