Very nice place for exploring the Angkor area and Siem Reap. Nice and helpfull service.
This homestay is run by a Danish/Cambodian family with three wonderful hospitable children.
It's a beautiful sort of colonial wooden house on pilars. The hospitality and luxury of the place (we had the deluxe room) was amazing. After a long and hot day of visiting Temples in Angkor Wat we came back and could rest in a peaceful and nice place without the noise and lights of the centre of Siem Reap. The place is very close to Angkor Wat, so if you want to visit the temples, this is the perfect place for you.
The price includes a breakfast, that has freshly baked Danish rolls by the host every morning!
When my friend had a bad stomach, Channa (the Cambodian wife) took care of her with some healing ginger tea, that made her well very quickly.
Concluding, they earned every star of the five I gave them.
Greetings,
Sjoerd & Manel
Great homestay run by a danish-cambodian family. You will find peace in this really quiet location, with the family and all the dogs. I stayed in the garden hut and spent some wonderful 4 nights.
They rent bycicles so you can get easily to the temples. Also you can request breakfast or dinner and Jana will delight you with exquisite dishes. They even took care of my digestive problems offering tea and boiled rice.
Great option outside the city (and closer to the temples!)
Me and my friend had a very memorable stay at Chana’s homestay. It is conveniently located w.r.t Angkor archeological area. The homestay is beautifully designed by Thomas (co owner), nestled in the woods. Channa and Thomas are great hosts. They provided us with many helpful tips and information about the area, helped organize transportation and guides. Thomas is an excellent baker and would prepare fresh bread for breakfast everyday! Channel is a great cook if you desire Cambodian food. They have 3 adorable, warm and loving kids with whom we had a great time. It was really nice to have a feeling of coming back home after a long day exploring the awe inspiring monuments of Angkor. We had a great time thanks to Thomas, channa, Amanda, Anita and Anton. I would recommend this homestay for travelers seeking a unique and local experience away from the noise of crowds.
Friendly and helpful Family
I had a great time and will definitely come back again.
Everything was clean and well maintained,
Great breakfast, and good discussions.
You will learn a lot from the local and a foreign culture, if you like.
Thanks also for the possibility to stay in the upper room.

-Far away from the noisy traffic with real nature feeling
Nice 'at home' feel allowing one to absorb the local culture and atmosphere, while at the same time being given a warm welcome by the family.
Nice Khmer house homestay. The location is inside the temple protected area and very quiet.
