Warm, friendly and very helpful staff The Privilege Floor comprises luxury suites, which are well maintained, just like the jacuzzi, sauna and swimming pool The buffet breakfast is exceptional, especially their live counters

Borei is a totally hidden and under rated gem here in Siem Reap. This places offers nice amenities and when we checked in got free upgrades and bottle of champagne. Customer service is fantastic and people are so soft, warm and welcoming! Hotel foyer is vast, rooms are big. Pool is huge. They have multiple mango trees in the pool area. All you can eat Breakfast is insane, so much variety of fruits, pastries, omelletes and local fare.
It's on the main highway 6 but the good thing is that it's about 100 meters in - so everything is quite. Great security if you drive here for you car / bike. They will also pick you up from the Aiport.
Highly recommend this place over the other Brand name hotels in the area.response / report this review -

This place is awesome! I felt like I was in a palace! The staff was gracious, the food was greatwe hired a Remorque (tuktuk) and ended up hiring him for three days. Mr. Der was the best! He took us for all day temple tour for $20. The thing that I really loved about this property is that is Cambodian owned and operated. I highly recommend!

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in, and the photos are really out-dated. Our room was facing the pool and they said we couldn't move, so every morning around seven we were awoken to singing and prayer services. Our bed mattress was really old and my back hurt every morning from it (I never have had back pain before). They only give you one key so you can't leave the a/c on if you aren't in the room. The staff is so incompetent. It usually took them at least three attempts to get our orders correct and they often would laugh at us for bringing the wrong order (example: we ordered a cheese and bacon burger off of the menu and the came with a plain hamburger with just a tomato on it, and started laughing when we asked where the cheese and bacon were). Also most of our food was not edible, so we had to go elsewhere for food after. I warn you not to get a hamburger and fries, or orange juice. Location isn't great, you can't really walk anywhere unless you leave early before it gets too hot. It's along the busy highway. When leaving it took them twenty five minutes to get our prescheduled car ready for us ( we booked it with them the day prior), so we were happy we planned some extra time in otherwise we might have missed our flight. I will never recommend or go back here. There are a lot of other hotels around, take your business elsewhere. At best this is a three star hotel, not a five star.

Awesome service, nice resort. Spa is one of the best I have experience. Stayed at the premier floor and was accorded very nice and personal service from Mr Alex who was the manager. Very accomodating to our requests.

Positives: The property is quite grand (in the traditional sense). Huge entrance and corridor. The best thing about the hotel of course is the staff. Absolutely amazing. Friendly, forthcoming and really helpful. Even the taxi that we hired, had drivers who were very nice and friendly.
Negatives: The hotel rooms need an upgrade. The look and feel itself makes you think this. in addition I saw several issues. The Air Conditioner in our room was loud and noisy. The minibar was making gurgling noises throughout. Asked them to change this and they did something that stopped the issue for a while. The wardrobe door's hinge was broken and it was a challenge to close it. The phone socket was coming off. There was something wrong with the electricity/ wiring in the room as sometimes in the night we heard sparking noise and lights went off and on (this just happened 1-2 times). The wooden floor looked like it needed a round of polish. The wall behind the bed had some crack on the plaster etc These things did not really bother us much, but all of these pointed to the need for a renovation.response / report this review -

Borei Angkor was incredible. It's a gorgeous hotel, and the staff is extremely friendly and courteous as well as very helpful when it came to arranging transportation and tours. I honestly did not want to leave. The food was very good, including the generous offerings at breakfast. The pool was also very elegant and we made sure to take advantage of it. I have already recommended it to a friend.

Exclusive Check-in service without much waiting, nice & good breakfast with many choose, friendly staff that let us feel like home! Nice swimming pool open up to 9pm while Siem Reap is hot and is good to cool down our body, good spa and massage. An exclusive 5 star hotel with reasonable price in Siam Reap.

You get a lot for you money, the place is well kept, rooms are nice, amenities are great and include pool, spa, weight room, bars and a restaurant. Well worth the reasonable nightly rate. Daily breakfast buffet has freshly cooked food for everyone from East to West. Love it!

Excellent hotel well located. Outstanding service and clean rooms. Hotel not visible from the busy street so when you are in the room, even with the windows open, it is really quiet. Big big breakfast buffet with a lot of choice (congee, phnom penh soup, crêpes and waffles, bacon, sausages, omelette and more). Home to the best spa in Siem Reap! I highly recommend this hotel.

This resort is very special and it's evident from your fist arrival. We stayed on the Privilege Floor and were greeted by our host who checked us in privately while we had a freshing drink. Nothing was ever any problem for the very friendly staff. The facilities are fabulous and clean and the resort is owned and run by local people. You'll not be disappointed here.

A great resort in ancient Khmer architecture. Service are a great experiences where you can appreciate how Cambodian people are hosting their guests. No wonder that Cambodian is the friendliest people on earth! Foods are delicious, swimming pool are spacious surrounding by charming tropical gardens! In room facilities are just great enough to be a truly 5-stars hotel. Just 2 minutes on Tuk-Tuk to downtown and 15 minutes from airports or to Angkorwat! A place to recommend!

Not 5 star in our opinion but close , being in Cambodia they just dont have the polish of other places. Dont get me wrong the staff were amazing and so helpful. The pool was a welcome relief in the heat. Food and drinks cheap but so is everything in Siem reap

Borei was great. It's a small five star resort. it's not for everyone but Spa alone is worth the cost. Prices are comparable to US prices. Great food. Hotel tuktuk guys were great too taking us to Angkor Wat for a day. No overcharging just bc we look rich. Very relaxing stay.

Good hotel, wonderful swimming pool, and sauna and steam with hot and cold bath in male and female changing rooms.
Have gym with some machines and weights. Have SPA, but seems it is pricy. Overall - very good place !!response / report this review
