Bamboo Bungalow

  April 18 - 20, 2018: We, a family of 4 with 2 young kids 10 & 8 years old stayed 3 nights at this basic, small & charming bungalow at a heavily landscaped environment. It's a triple room with daily supply of 3 bottles of drinking water, basic toiletries - 3 toothbrushes, 3 soaps & 3 little packets of shampoo. No TV in the room. WiFi in the room was quite weak. Better WiFi reception at the main "lobby/restaurant" area. The room was compact, the 1 double bed & 1 single bed, both with mosquito nets, 1 bamboo rack, 1 bed side table. There was not much place for luggage. We put our luggage underneath the bed. The location was about less than 10min tuk tuk ride. Costed approximately 2 to 3 USD per ride to town centre. A bit far to walk in my opinion. We were not affected by the late night party noises during our stay. But the insects noise could be quite loud for some people. The counter staff were friendly, helpful but speaks a little bit of English & Chinese. Overall it was a pleasant stay. We enjoyed our stay at Bamboo Bungalow.

  I’ve been here in 2017, the place is a real heaven in Kampot. A must come, suite for couple or group or even backpacker. Recommend room with the River view since the room balcony faces the East, u shall likely get up early as 5:00 am to enjoy the beautiful sun rise, along with small fishing boats that travel pass the room in the dawn. In the evening, do not forget to ask for sigh seeing boat crushing along the river, the view is gorgeous, like in the paint, I wasn’t to believe to see such wonderful view of mountains and the valley. Happy holiday, A must, if u will come to visit Kampot, Cambodia.

  Nice and new experience for my autumn trip. Nice view, comfortable room, delicious food. Only 4 star reviewing because they not silent place, wood room easily to get noise from outside, they should make a sign keep silent please outside and in room.

  The worst customer service ever. We asked them to let us check out at 1pm. They agreed, but when we arrived at 12.30pm they had removed our luggage from the room without our consent and left it in the lobby. Look at how they treated their customers. Shame on them! Never will I stay there again.

  Nice place !! The Bungalow have air-conditioning and hot water , the view was amazing !! The price only 25$/night , the best deal in Kampot!!
