How can we protect this historical building for next generation. It's really old but it is sill beautiful place in the world for me.

Nice impressive entrance to the temple complex and showing you immediately the Khmer style of architecture. See the gateway as an historical and exclusive royal entrance at that time. Ideal place with nice views and possibility to shoot great photos. Thé bridge is under restoration. On thé side , and with thé support of Japan , a floating bridge has been installed temporarily

Slowly getting close to Angkor Wat
Just in this Gateway you can see the details of the Khmer style, but it's just a glimpse of what you are about to

Make no mistake about it, nothing can prepare you to the magnificently of the temple of temples

As the front part of Angkor Wat temple, people usually get attached with the place, whose view is beautiful and attractive. Along with water, serving as irrigation system and for agriculture, at the both sides, the gate is made of heavy and big stones. In Hinduism, once people are walking across the gate along with the water at both sides, they are supposed to meet only lucks. On top of that, people can also take many pictures with the views and enjoying sniffing fresh and deliberate air.

As you're walking in you get a feeling of how grand Angkor Wat is going in. Great place to stop for a photo if you have time.

Spread across a 1,000 square mile area of northern Cambodia are the ruins of one hundred or so temples and memorials. These magnificent structures are the remainder of a thousand year old Khmer civilization that once ruled over all of Cambodia, portions of Vietnam and China, and across the Bay of Bengal. The most notable of these ruins is the temple complex of Angkor Wat, sometimes spelled Angkor Vat or Angkor Watt.
