Silk Roads, China/Kazakhstan/Kyrgyzstan
The Silk Roads is a 5,000-kilometer stretch of the network that has been connecting civilizations for thousands of years, beginning in the 2nd century BC. Not only did the system of trade routes allow for the exchange of goods, but also for the exchange of cultures, languages, and ideas. The passage includes 33 locations, but along the way you’ll also find other previously assigned World Heritage Sites. The Silk Roads have everything from capital cities and Buddhist cave temples to palace complexes and parts of the Great Wall of China.response / report this review -

The hotel is located in the city centre of Bishkek, however it was a bit difficult to find as it is on one of the back streets behind the main road. Friendly and very helpful hotel staff. Accomodation included breakfast with liberal opening hours from 7am till 11am. The room was spacious enough with a decent view. The only bad thing was the tv had no reception for some reason. Was here for a wrestling clinic and the hotel staff were nice enough to arrange for a taxi pick up at a pre-arranged price so I didn't get cheated in fare. Overall a great experience and hotel.

Excellent value, nice small hotel. It was very easy access with a prearranged transfer from the airport early in the morning. Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful with any requests, fast check in. Very good central location in Bishkek, close to stadium and sports hall. Very big room, big nice and clean bathroom. Fridge and kettle available in room by default, iron with board as well. Nice breakfast. Sauna and small pool available as well. Simply - excellent.

Spent two weeks in this well placed hotel. Overall good value for money. Friendly staff. Large rooms with amenities (fridge, cooking set, wifi). Breakfast service may be a bit slow. Unfortunately, no gym. Only a small pool with chilly water. But definitely a go-back

In 2006, we stayed here for 3 weeks in July then 1 week in September as we adopted our son. The calmness and comfort of this little B&B was beyond soothing. We looked at the Four Seasons but realized what a gem the Silk Road Lodge is. Very highly recommended.
