Nice place, good food and big rooms
My wife and I stayed at this place about 4-5 month ago-Great looking place, however, if you care about your privacy-run away from this hotel, as far as you can, neverever we are going to stay at this place, they have surveillance cameras, and that's fine, but not when its recording when one is having intimate moment and discrete conversation with his spouse and THEN posting it in the local public media AND on youtube. After 2-3 month we were able to remove the video from youtube, BUT that video circulated in local media for another month or so. Luckily we were not having intercourse, would probabbly end up in some porn sites. Multiple calls did not help, staff pretended that they know nothing about it and had no desire to discuss or help. SHAME! SHAME! SHAME! Guys there are plenty hotels in Bishkek, huge competition, and TONS better service. Hope this helps!
We have conducted a presentation there, and i disliked their conference room, very small, uncomfortable, the space for coffe-break is like a hall.
Maximum comfort for guest: in the room everything is available whatever traveler may need. Breakfast - very good. Location - very good, in the center of the city but not in the main street , thus very quiet. Staff - helpful and polite. Ambassador hotel and Hotel Solutel , which are in 50 meters from each other, are under the same management and both are extremely good.
The hotel is nice. But staff are a bit unhospital and reluctant
I like it because the hotels staff was so kind..
Very nice hotel. The rooms are clean, big and comfortable. Breakfast is fine. You also can spend some good time in Times Bar on the roof.
Great place to spend a night on a business trip in Bishkek. Nice hotel.
Should not be called a 5 star hotel, this hotel is lacking in its service and amenities to be called as such. The breakfast bar is lacking in variety and quality, water pressure is very weak, location is mediocre and the views are depressing. But then again, this is Bishkek Don't expect much and you won't be disappointed!
Update: I didn't have hot water in my room in the mornings. I overheard a couple here discussing the lack of water in the morning and it apparently is the case every day. When I asked about this at the counter, they told me they would take care of it immediately. Yea right!!
During the night I am almost sure someone opened the door to my room around 4:30 am. It has really been an unpleasant stay.
The staff speaks a surprisingly high level of English. That's why they do get one star at all.
