Buyer beware: the hotel's description (as of April 2017) is inaccurate in important areas: 1) there is no wifi internet 2) there is no restaurant 3) the location as shown on the Jumia Travel website and the main Google Maps location "Papatuo Villas Resort" is incorrect; Papatuo is not near the beach and is in fact on the other side of Diani Beach Road, almost 1km away from the beach. There is no signpost showing the name Papatuo Villas, and the location is down a dirt road not even on the main road. The name Papatuo does not even appear at the gate entrance which is highly unsettling when arriving in the evening.

The management was completely unhelpful and refused to refund even a portion of the cost, even though we had paid for 4 nights and stayed only 1 night.

Even without receiving any refund, we decided to stay elsewhere because the room was also dirty on the inside and we found cockroaches in the bathroom.
