  Excellent, well-supplied stock and knowledgeable pharmacists and workers! They've got the best selection of any chemist (pharmacy) I've seen in Kenya. They've even got mosquito repellent with up to 60% deet, sunscreen, and a whole bunch of other hard-to-find travel necessities.

  I have visited your chemist severally and always received exemplary service. However, today I had an experience with one of your employees Joshua that left a very sour taste in my mouth. I went in to ask some questions about having my baby girl's ears pierced. I was referred to Joshua. A simple question to him about how long he has been piercing babys' ears for (to give me some comfort level) turned into a verbal tirade from him where he rudely refused to answer me, demanded to know why I was asking that question, accused me of being offensive for asking the question and finally lamented that he doesn't care when I told him that I would escalate how he had treated me to management. I gave my feedback to the ladies at the counter who apologized profusely on behalf of the chemist. Joshua is a liability to your chemist and in as much as I have received good customer service from other employees, I will not recommend your chemist for ear piercing for babies. I can only imagine how many other customers he has been rude to resulting in lost business to you.

  I had the pleasure of using Yaya Chemist when I was visiting Nairobi recently. For someone who lives in Australia and used to high standard of pharmaceutical services, I was amazed at how professional the staff were and the high quality of the service and they were so pleasant.

  There is a plethora of services provided at this chemist such as nutrition consultancy, beauty and cosmetics, health screenings for diabetes, bone density and body mineral composition, in addition to the usual prescription filling and OTC drugs. Well staffed with competent health care workers and the presence of the pharmacist/proprietor.

  Yaya Chemists are one of the most reliable and helpful chemists that I know. I have been a customer of theirs for over 20 years. I know that I can call Mrs Patel at any time day or night for advise. They have a family touch, which I have to say is sadly missing in the majority of chemists. Wish you all nothing but the best for years to come.
