The services are almost at 0, they need to refurbish the rooms and replace the furniture. Don't waste your time going here if you love good things.

A beautiful location with a peaceful atmosphere. I went for the pool, jacuzzi, and sauna. All were well taken care of. The jacuzzi would be filled on request. It's a relaxing place to spend the whole day for a getaway.

Cosy quiet place with well manicured lawns that oozes tropical ambience. The studio was a little too cramped for my liking and the spiral staircase is so narrow(careful not to bump your head) Also, there's so much mosquitos in the evening. Otherwise, clean and cosy.

Horrible place and extremely unprofessional manager. This is a copy of the email I sent them:
I am writing to formally let you know that I am going to dispute any transactions should they be charged to my credit card.
I am also disappointed to learn that your staff attempted to charge my card knowing well that you insisted, and I agreed, that I would pay in cash for the room charges for the two nights that I stayed at Woodmere.
I want to propose that in future you take every effort to treat your clients courteously and respectfully. It should not be up to the client to prove that they have paid you, if they already have the receipt that is generated from your website.
You may want to consider obtaining some counselling in how to be an effective listener and training from your bank on how credit card financial transaction work.response / report this review -

It is the worst place and accommodation I have ever found myself in. Poor facilities, poor communication, reception area with lots of mosquito like a kiosk. They are cheats and deceitful. I arrived the apartment at 2.48am and they kept me at reception overnight even after they had acknowledged my early arrival and check-in. I will not recommend the place even to my enemies.

It is almost as it says it is, however, when you look at the photos it looks like a clean, newly renovated place. I even paid for a "new refurbished" studio. However, what I ended up getting was not very clean nor was it recently refurbished. So, just be aware that this place is not what it seems to be. However, if you are not picky about cleanliness or furnishings and just need a place to stay, this place is probably adequate. By the way, the walls are also very thin, so you can hear everyone coming and going. However, on the plus side the windows do have screens!

After driving past Woodmere for something like 3 years on my way to and from work, and after moving out of Nairobi, I finally had a chance to stay there after I only had had feedback from friends who had used the establishment.
My family and I stayed one night only, as our passing through Nairobi was fairly tight, but I must say we enjoyed every minute of it.
The owner made us feel at home from the very first minute and the staff we met is nice and polite.
The style of the buildings is the usual one of many houses and blocks of flats from about 20 years ago, and a lot of the apartments seem to differ in structure.
We had some difficulty getting hot water out of the shower in the morning, but the season was already warm enough to warrant a cold-ish splash.response / report this review -
